An older facility that they've done a good job of maintaining. The rooms are small, mattresses are good, and the rooms well equipped. The people are friendly and helpful. Noise from the adjacent airport isn't a problem, We'd stay here again.

The staff are friendly, the room was well cared for, and the amenities in the room including the coffee were well above average. However, don't expect to be able to print documents from your laptop to the front desk. Otherwise, I enjoyed the stay here. It is within walking distance of the Kenai Airport.

Best: Good selection of items for breakfast despite the fact that it's not a B and B. It is also very quiet - much appreciated. Not the best: Lighting in my room was poor and without good lighting over the sink. Everything else was fine.

I booked through Expedia and didn't notice anywhere in that process that the lobby closed at 7pm. I didn't arrive in the area until after 8 so that was unexpected. That said, they left an envelope with the key, receipt, and instructions for me so it worked out ok. The property is older and not really upgraded but is not in disrepair and was clean overall. My biggest complaint is that our room smelled of what seemed to be cat urine. It was definitely distracting to me, though my son said he didn't notice. My bed squeaked a little but was comfortable. The sheets, pillows, and towels were all clean and of good quality and the water pressure in the shower was great. The grab and go snacks were a nice touch, though I would have preferred a few more healthy options. We never did see any staff at the facility since we arrived after the lobby closed and left before they opened both days we were there. That was odd but we didn't really have need of them so I guess it didn't matter in the end.
