"We enjoyed our stay in this quiet little neighborhood. HOWEVER, photos are not quite representative of the property's current condition. Back deck is in need of replacement, some front deck boards ave warped and corners lifting which caused a tripping hazard. Fortunately I caught myself before falling to the ground. The butcher block countertop was very wet & moldy looking around the kitchen faucet. The laminate flooring is shabby in places. The entire place could use a serious deep cleaning. For the price charged, I expected perfection. My brother rented a house right on the beach in town which was less money and in much better condition. A partial voluntary refund would make things "right". But, that probably won't happen. Live & learn."

"It’s nice to find a dog friendly house with enough bedrooms for the whole family of adult children and their partners. The location of this property is convenient and the parking is top notch. The toys in the garage are a bonus, especially if you are bringing teens or tweens."

"Once Upon a Tide exceeded our expectations! It's big, beautifully decorated, well-stocked, clean, very close to beach, and had a separate room for pool and another separate room for ping pong! We used the hot tub, the grill, the beach toys, the dining room, the outdoor table, and certainly the kitchen! Everyone loved it and we highly recommend!"

"We had a pretty good time at the house. The fire pit was a highlight for a lot of people in our group. The only thing I’d keep in mind is that if you have a big group it’s hard to fit everyone in a living space at the same time. It wasn’t a deal breaker for us and didn’t ruin our trip at all. The beach was about a half mile walk down the street which wasn’t bad. It was an amazing location! Overall, our trip was lovely!"

"My wife had pretty much a background check on her to include a requested copy of her DL and a selfie of herself (a little intrusive), it was a first for us when renting on VRBO. Despite this, the owners communicated well and the property was great…being very close to a beautiful beach was a plus."

"Very nice comfy home. The neighborhood was very chill and quiet. Short walk to a very quiet beach. It was perfect for me since I have anxiety. We would love to stay here again in the future. The only issue we had was the pullout sofa bed had dirty sheets but we used the washer onsite to clean this before using. Everything else was wonderful! Thank you "
