"What a nice place. It was incredibly quiet. The young and friendly staff member had great recommendations for dining as I stayed on a weeknight when the hotel restaurant was not open. The hotel is a very short walk to the lighthouse. This is a beautiful spot, well worth the detour on my cross country journey."

"The location was perfect! The room was well appointed but when we got to the room we didn’t have any garbage bags for the kitchen. We were not told in check in that we needed to ask for a garbage bag or two. It would have been nice to know if that was the case. The beds were comfortable and the room was comfortable and clean. When we closed the bathroom door it was obvious that no one cleaned behind it for a while. The breakfast was good. It was crowded and we ended up in the back area. The kitchen team had their radio blaring music which was not appropriate for our little ones. They didn’t notice but we sure did. We asked them to turn it down but as time went by it got louder again. The front area had nice music and it seemed very comfortable. Not so much in the back. We’d stay again! Honestly there were just some little things that could be improved upon. The pool was nice. There is a jacuzzi you just have to hit the green button on the wall to start the jets. We didn’t know that for a while until we decided to hit the button on the wall. The water is not hot but the jets felt good."
