Guest Houses in Kelaniya

Breeze of Paradise is the only place I stay at when visiting the Colombo area of Sri Lanka. It's a nice, quiet, safe and comfortable place. Kala & Suresh are lovely hosts and very welcoming and this too is another reason why I come back. I've stayed in other hotels in the past but they're nothing like this. Definitely give this place a look!

Excellent hotel, staff couldn't have been kinder and more accomodating, great location near restaurants, shops and the National Museum and Natural History museum. Overall a brilliant stay

Great place for solo travellers. Comfortable and clean rooms. Excellent staff and proprietor who always make you feel happy and content. Superb location.

I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The location was convenient and made it easy to explore the surrounding area. For other travellers, I’d recommend checking the room options when booking and considering what facilities are most important to you. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and good choice for a relaxing trip. I would be happy to stay here again.

I arrived at 1am after my flight was delayed and the owner was still waiting up to greet me. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet, with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty with fresh coconut juice, fried eggs and sausages, and fruit. It’s just 15 minutes to Colombo airport so very handy for a stopover. There was a bit of confusion over payment - I had prepaid having booked through hotels.com but the owner seemed to have no record of this and asked me to pay again but...

The two bedroomed apartment was spacious and ideal for our family of four. We arrived from the airport late and had to call a number for someone to give us our keys but he was there within 5 mins. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed a morning swim before departing on our travels. Would recommend.

We spent a couple of nights in Mount Lavinia on arrival in Sri Lanka - this place was a good choice - clean and very well appointed, with helpful staff. Close to the railway station; and walking distance to the main road where you can get a bus. The location is initially a bit off-putting, down a back alley, but once you are inside it is really nice and it is a few hundred yards from the beach, where there are lots of restaurants and the nearby Mount Lavinia hotel, great for a sundowner on the...

Great place to stay, right on the beach but handy for other places such as restaurants. Relaxing with friendly and attentive staff.

Very reasonably priced guest house in a quiet location. Rooms were spacious and clean. Excellent value for money
