"Lovely period property. The room was very clean and the staff were excellent. The room would have benefited from blackout curtains that covered the entire window as there were bright lights outside the window. Also, light bled around the door as there were gaps under and it did not fully align with the door frame. I would stay here again as it was in a great location. "
"It took a really really long time (almost 1 day) to heat up the house from 16 deg C to 24 deg C. It was so cold that we all wore winter jacket in the house. There were no blinds in the bathroom. It will be great to have blinds so that we don't need to worry about anything during the shower. But the house is spacious and the location is great. "

"The cottage was fantastic for a short getaway in the Blue Mountains. It's centrally located and the indoor fire was a huge plus to the stay.Check in/out was very easy and I would highly recommend the cottage!"
Cottawalla - charming & cosy original early 1900's weatherboard cottage
10/10 Excellent
"Two friends away for a mini break, property was homely and warm with comfortable beds. The house was within easy walking distance of pubs and restaurants."
"Charming cottage was the perfect mountain escape for our family and furbaby. The cottage was beautiful, and warm. It was all fenced off and we had our own little secret garden. Govett's leap was just down the road. The village centre was also nearby which had a bakery, book store, antique stores, grocery outlets and a few cafes and restaurants.
Our toddler loved the massive rocket park (also nearby).
Overall, a great family stay."
New listing! Original 1895 cottage, magnificent uninterrupted views of valley.
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay at this charming 1890s cottage in Blackheath. The house is spacious and filled with quirky antique touches that give it a lovely old-world charm. Everything was immaculately clean, with fresh, crisp bedding that made us feel right at home. The house had everything we needed. The view over the mountains was absolutely stunning—especially in the mornings when the fog rolled in, creating a magical atmosphere. We loved cozying up by the fire in the kitchen and enjoyed watching the projector and the movies in the lounge room by the fire, it made the chilly weather so enjoyable. The location is perfect—just a short drive to local shops, cafes, and scenic lookouts, including the Megalong Valley Tea Rooms. The kids were delighted with the birdlife right outside and had a blast playing with the toys and games provided. Wifi was provided in our stay, and Georgina our house was amazing and very responsive and kind. All in all, a unique and memorable stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with character and comfort."
