"This really had everything we needed and more for a family of 6. Enough rooms and beds. Both bathrooms were gorgeous. The area did not over heat and could maintain a very tolerable temperature. Some things to consider, if you’re a light sleeper, the birds wake up at 5:30am on the dot everyday. Personally we had no issues and it really further enhanced our experience. Door locking instructions need to be updated for sure. You need to tug and hold the door some so the lock can go through after...

"Although this property is just off busy Alii Drive, you never notice or think about the traffic. Very quiet. So much more peaceful than staying closer to Kailua-Kona, although the town is easily accessible and the condo is in a great location to access other island points of interest. Trent and Debbie have furnished the condo, including the kitchen, with everything you could think of. The only critique of the kitchen is that many of the bowls and dishes are plasic or otherwise get extremely hot...

"Overall this property is amazing. We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely stay here again. Be warned, this is CLOSE to the water (and wave action) so if you are a light sleeper, you may find the waves & ocean sounds to be too loud. We love that, so it wasn’t an issue for us. Our main complaint was with the initial guests above us for the first couple days of our stay. They had an unruly child with them (temper tantrums) and he would stomp and wail and he really made things pretty...

It is both vacation rentals AND homes, and it is quiet, friendly and very community-like. "Loved this place. Nicely located. Owner was more than accommodating and always made you feel he was there for you. And they were. Property management was excellent. Views were priceless. Pools were extraordinary. All in all you won’t be disappointed. Only reason it didn’t get five stars across the board would be the loft. A little warm and door on bathroom made privacy a bit awkward. Also the close by beach isn’t all that. I had my grown adult girls there so they require a little more privacy....

"Beautiful property in an exclusive neighborhood. House was everything that was advertised. Kitchen was modern with most modern appliances. The house is designed to give all rooms privacy with separation from living area. View of the pool was stunning with sunsets dead center. Pool tiles around steps need to be re finished as some are rough on edges. Pool water was a little cool to some guests. Beach chairs and toys was appreciated . Everyone had a great time"

"We had a great, relaxing time while we were there. 3 pools along with 3 free BBQ grills to use. Next to the ocean and a golf course. We didn't need air conditioning since the trade winds either from over the mountains or the ocean keep the condo cool day and night. We will return again and request to stay at Kanaloa at Kona by OUTRIGGER again."
