The cottage is rustic but with everything you need for your stay. It has 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, and a joined kitchen and lounge room. There is a large deck with seating and bbq, overlooking the garden, through the beautiful large trees. Guests have the entire cottage to themselves. As you enter You're welcomed by a beautiful old fashioned fire place in the cosy lounge room, leading into the kitchen diner, and big glass doors and windows which lead out onto a large timber deck overlooking forget me knot flowers and trees. Everything was delightful but i did find the beds to be very firm, which made sleeping a little hard. The gas heating worked well, and the property fairly clean. The shower was a little awkward and felt closed in due to the tiny shower curtain area but we managed. It was just right for our little family of three humans and one fur baby. It's handily located close to the main shops in Katoomba and other areas of the Blue Mountains are easily accessible. Although we had issues with the main gas heater, Michael was super responsive and we managed to stay toasty and warm throughout our stay (the log fire was fabulous).
