We had one stay here during our drive from Denmark to Italy. The hotel delivered on all parameters and we have no complaints at all. Especially the breakfast was on of the best hotel breakfasts I have had for many years. Easy parking, and easy to find a restaurant in the area.

Kassel visit

Kassel was very busy with much the same shops as everywhere else. The green place were very good, herculien, orangery. The trams were very good for getting around. Hotel was very good but room was slightly dated.

The staff were really friendly. The room was clean. I felt comfortable. The building is old, but I didn’t have a problem with that. There were only one socket to charge all of our electronics, which was due to the old building.

The Hotel was very nice and in a great location . Our room was spacious and it had a great view of the city and a beautiful park. You can here the Tram's noises but it wasn't bad at all. The Hotel gaves us complementary trams tickets which was amazing since it tooks us to the Hercules statue. The breakfast at the Hotel is absolutely fabulous . This is our third H Hotel this year and we absolutely love the sevice and the facilities. I will definitely book another H Hotel again .

Very poor customer service, ok breakfast, very dated rooms. We arrived at 12:30pm and were met with a very curt “check in is not until 3” immediately upon walking thru the front door. Our group of 4 including 2 seniors were told we would have to wait until exactly 3pm before they would give us our room key. They had rooms available, that was abundantly obvious but chose to make us sit in the lobby for 2.5 hrs for no reason other than incredibly poor customer service. The rooms themselves are fine, very very dated and the doors have no deadbolt or other extra security lock or peephole so it felt a bit unsafe as well. Will not be staying here again and would not recommend.

A great stay

We used the Hotel as a middle stop on way to Austria, back and forth. It was a very nice hotel - we will definately be using it again. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because it has carpets, my wife and daugther have allergies. All in all, a great stay in a great city.
