"We had read so many wonderful reviews about this hotel and they were not wrong. From the moment you walked in the hotel staff were very helpful and continued to be for the week that we were there. The courtesy bus was great, took us to the station and from there we had our trips to Sorrento, Amalfi and Napoli. The breakfast was very nice, the views were amazing from the rooftop of the hotel with a glass of morning fizz in hand! The restaurant in the evening in the hotel grounds was faultless, the food was amazing and the staff exceptional. During the day the pool area was very calm, the lifeguard / pool attendant kept it spotless, he was a fountain of local knowledge. Thank you, Medusa we had a wonderful time and would thoroughly recommend your beautiful hotel"

Would highly recommend this hotel to suite all needs whether it's a relaxing break or an exploring break. Thank you all :)"

The only complaints are there was no coffee maker of any sort in our hotel room and we could hear chairs scraping against our ceiling from the restaurant directly above us. We stayed in a Superior Double or Twin Room, and the bathroom upon our entry smelled like pee and did not seem clean to us and the room was a little stuffy. The next time we stayed, it was a whole LOT better. We stayed in the Family Quadruple Room and it was very spacious, with a view of a little garden, it was very clean, and very comfortable. A little consistency would go along way. Either way, the breakfast was delicious!"

"We made this hotel our home base while exploring the amalfi coast. It is right across the Salerno train station which made it very convenient. The location of the hotel is also excellent -- 5 min walk to the ferries. 30 second walk to the downtown stretch of restaurants. Hotel is outdated but that's the charm. The elevator is small so you might need to take multiple trips with luggage. Room was good, no issues. Breakfast in the morning was really great and worth the time to enjoy before spending the day on the coast. Staff was very helpful with directions, recommendations, and checking in/out."
