The room was big and comfortable. At times there was a sewer smell but it wasn't extremely strong or constant. The breakfast buffet was good but get there early (before 9 am. If you get there at 9 am or later, everything is empty or only a few things left. When the çay runs out, no more is made. On querying this at reception (Night Shift) we were given a delux room on the seventh floor. Much better sitting area and the room was nice and hot (-17") outside. Some issues to communicate in english but they were solve. Room was beautiful with a breathtaking view to the Kars' Castle. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and sorted. Many options for dinning along the street and to purchase cheese which is their main product. People in the city are friendly and glad to assist foreigners. I parked in front of the hotel, and it turned out they charge for parking, but the hotel told us we could park there. The person in charge came when we were leaving and charge me correctly and I pay with card.
