Great location!
Perfect getaway. Located right on the water and walking distance to Big Pines for dinner. We had a great time and will be back

It was a fantastic location right on the Bayou
The property is in a great location and nicely decorated. Living room and kitchen are really nice. The 3 bedrooms are of various sizes. One bedroom is really only suited for children and the door is missing. The larger bedroom had a "leaking" faucett in the tub. The other bedroom had sketchy mattress. The 2nd bathroom is nice. The back porch area is in need of repairs. Screen torn, Storm door missing and dock area was great but needs deep cleaning around that area.

Great Lake Get Away
Wonderful view of the lake - screened in porch is wonderful! Open plan with living/kitchen makes this a great family or group stay! Host was super responsive to texts!

Filthy mattress..
When we removed the sheets the mattress was horrible and very dirty. We were asked to remove all sheets and leave them in a pile together. I would suggest that at least purchase a mattress pad but I seriously was almost sick. My niece stayed in a house down the street and it was very clean..

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: We sincerely apologize for the unclean mattress as this home is a special place for me and I do take pride in maintaining it. All of the mattresses at Sue's Camp are reasonably new and I truly appreciate you bringing this issue to my attention. After reading your concerns, the mattresses were fully inspected and did not show signs of dirt but new mattresses have been purchased for the home. Thank you for providing your feedback as we continue to improve for better stays!

Awesome place very close to Caddo Lake State Park
We truly enjoyed this great place right on Big Cypress Bayou and very close to Caddo Lake State Park. Eric, the property manager made us feel at home and treated us with great care and attention! We will be back. Thank you so much!
