Somewhat disappointing

The woman who checked us in at the front desk was extremely nice (even with language barrier difficulties). However, the hotel was a bit of a disappointment. It was very rundown and appeared to be in various stages of renovation here and there, but it looked like they'd run out of money or something during renovations. It was very strange. At night it seemed empty, like we were the only humans there, no other guests, no employees, nothing. Weird. Our room was pretty old, and while the room was not filthy, I wouldn't say that the cleaning staff had not made much effort beyond the minimal. There were a ton of outdoor tennis courts that you could tell at one time had made the place a premier tennis camp; however, like the rest of the hotel, the courts needed work. Throughout the hotel, no working Internet. On the plus side, it was a very short drive to the town part of Karlovy Vary, which is a pretty neat and colorful little place.

Hotel ohne Service

Was wir aber erlebten, überstieg die Erwartungen an eine Übernachtung. Bei Ankunft fragten wir, ob wir im Hotel zu Abend essen können - Restaurant war ausgewiesen. Man sagte uns, das Restaurant sei zu und wir wären die einzigen Gäste. In der Nachbarschaft das Restaurant sei ebenfalls zu. Der Chef erlaube nicht, wegen 2 Gästen das Restaurant zu öffen, Unsere Frage nach dem Inclusive-Frühstück am nächsten Morgen wurde mit ja, selbstverständlich beantwortet, zwischen 8:00 und 10:00 Uhr. Wir bekamen den Schlüssel und die Kollegin an der Rezeption sagte uns, dass wir dann nach 20 Uhr komplett allein im Haus wären, sie hatte dann Feierabend. War kein Problem für uns, aber schon etwas unglaublich, Gäste so ganz allein zu lassen. Wegen des Abendessens mußten wir mit dem Taxi nach Karlsbad fahren (20,00 €, die nicht eingeplant waren!).Am nächsten Morgen war 8:30 Uhr noch niemand vom Hotelpersonal im Haus. Gegen 9:00 kam eine Kollegin, die nichts ausrichten konnte, da der Schlüssel für die Küche nicht da war. Wiederholte Anrufe beim Chef des Hotels wurden nicht von ihm entgegengenommen. Wir mussten ohne Frühstück abreisen.

Leuk hotel niet ver van de stad.

Nette eenvoudige kamers . Rustige ligging. De prijs/ kwaititeitsverhouding is vrij goed. Uitgebreid ontbijt en vriendelijk personeel.

Billig och bra tennisresa

Billigt prisvärt hotell med utmärkta tennisbanor som var anledningen till att vi valde det. I övrigt var hotellet nedgånget även om våra 2 dubbelrum var rätt stora. Frukosten över förväntan med både kokt korv och stekt/kokt ägg.

Terrible site.

The hostel's place was so far from bus and train station that I walked for 40 min. Wifi was okay only in the lobby so that was very inconvenient. There were no breakfast and restaurant manager wasn't able to english.

Absolut nichts besonderes. W-LAN funktioniert nich

Das Essen hat nach Eisen oder ähnlichem geschmeckt. Der Geschmack war noch am Tag darauf zu spüren. Ekelhaft! W-LAN funktioniert auch nicht! Frühstück muss man sich fast reinzwingen! Nie wieder dieses "Hotel"

Бюджетный отель для любителей тенниса

Бюджетный отель на периферии Карловых Вар. Чистый воздух и вид реки из окна. Автобус ходит в город каждые 1.5-2 часа. Пешком до центра около 3 км. Скудный однообразный завтрак. Несколько теннисных кортов. Из неудобств: ресепшн работает до 20:00. Есть сауна, но невозможно вечером ее использовать, потому что из администрации никого нет. Wi-fi берет не везде, только рядом с ресепшн или в номерах которые рядом.

Leuk hotel in the middele of nowhere.

Hotel, daar is niets mis mee ook de de locatie is erg mooi zij het dat het erg afgelegen ligt en zeer slecht is aangegeven met borden, wij hebben 2 uur moeten zoeken naar dit hotel. Het hotel zelf is eerlijk doch basic, als men daar mee leven kan is dit een mooie voordelige optie. Tip; hotel ligt midden in een schittererend bos, lekker wandelen. NOGO: als je geen auto hebt, dan wodt het wel erg ver wandelen. (ca. 7 km van het station af.) Meerdere bedden zijn mogelijk, makkelijk als je met kinderen reist.

slušný, obyčejný hotel

Hotel je součástí tenisových kurtů. Umístěn v klidné části uprostřed lesů na okraji města.Do centra pěšky hodně daleko. Zastávka busu poblíž hotelu. Ochotný šéf hotelu nám nechal přitopit na pokoji, když jsme mu řekli, že nám je chladno. Milá paní recepční. Wifi na pokoji. Snídaně - káva, čaj, džus, salám, sýr, džem, paštika, jogurt.

This hotel has seen better days

The hotel didn't resemble the description or photo on Expedia. It is more a tennis training centre than anything else. The linen was past its use-by date, for example the fitted sheet which had a couple of holes in it had lost its elasticity, becoming a crumpled mess in the middle of the bed by morning and the towels were tattered. The location is about four kilometres up the mountain. The confusing bus timetables combined with our inability to speak Czech and no-one at the hotel speaking English resulted in a lot of additional walking. The room did not contain a fridge or tea & coffee making facilities but this may be standard in the Czech Republic. You had to be early for the complimentary breakfast - first in best dressed.
