My mum spent a lot of time on the swing seat on the private and sunny deck. It would have been helpful to know that the downstairs bedroom had no internal access and the sofas were uncomfortable but that was the the only downside. Tokerau Beach is quite exposed, so we drove about 10 mins to Matai Bay which was stunning - great for snorkeling, swimming etc. We are keen to return to this area some time.
