There is a track from the bach which leads to a beautiful, secluded bay and it is only a five-minute walk to Tokerau Beach and Parakerake Beach. It is also only a 5 km drive to stunning Matai Bay. This area boasts some of the best fishing in NZ, beaches, swimming, snorkeling and kayaking. I do think that the carpets need replacing and the bathroom is quite dated. A microwave would have been nice. There are 2 short walks through forest to local beach which are lovely. It’s not advisable for families with small kids as main bedroom is downstairs - we slept upstairs with the kids. Had to get rid of our rubbish as no bin available. We were told to take Rubbish with us from property owner and dump it in transfer station which was nearby but were closed on every tuesday.
