But if you have time or car this is a excellent hotel with beautiful views of castle n river; an onsen; and delicious breakfast buffet (for $8.00). Hard to find this quality hotel at such reasonable price. I booked 3 nights thinking it would be good place to visit the 3 major pottery towns. Although they had basic information on a slip of paper in English, it neglected to mention that. I had to call down because I wasn't expecting it and couldn't figure out what was up with the room. After the front desk staff showed me, I used google translate on the text next to where you insert the key and it didn't mention anything about electricity or power either. None of the staff I interacted with seemed to speak English well, but this wasn't a problem.
