Nicely located in between a lot of beaches, dive shops, cafes and restos. Amed is one long road, motorbike recommended. There are only 7 staff but they are super helpful and friendly. Very much a family feel. All are great! Beds were firm. Showers had lots of hot water. Things that I didn’t like were no sun loungers/ bean bag chairs to relax on. If you wanted to sit by the ocean then you had to sit at tables and chairs in the dining area. Pool had no seats unless you were in room Sindhu. At breakfast my toast came out cold-since that was all I ordered it was very disappointing. Internet in the room was non existent. Only good reception was the dining area. The rooms had low lightening. No outlet in bathroom if you wanted to use a hair appliance. Showers were VERY rustic. If you don’t mind showering with the occasional centipede. No full length mirror. It is a very unique place but no one with any kind of mobility issues should stay there. If you like private outdoor space there is very little. The public deck is nice to sit on and watch the ocean but there is not enough room for all the people that stay here. The beach along this stretch has a lot of garbage. Le petit déjeuner face à l’océan était vraiment la cerise sur le gâteau ! Seul petit bémol : la maison étant sur deux étages, les escaliers sont assez étroits et pentus, ce qui peut être un peu difficile pour les personnes avec de grosses valises ou des difficultés à se déplacer.
