The rooms are filled with bugs and are very dated. The outdoor shower is amazing. I stayed here twice in two weeks just for that. The food is excellent too and cheap! The only issue is that I'd strengthen the Internet a bit. It's not the best. Otherwise, I highly recommend this property. On our arrival we was met by friendly staff a short book in and a quick brief in regards to our stay. We was then taken to our Bungalow which had a seafront view which was breathtaking and beautiful to see after a long trip. "You feel that you have finally arrived". The maintenance and cleanliness of the grounds and bungalows was excellent. Staff was always busy keeping the site to a good standard and very attentive. Pool & area was kept immaculate. Dining area was very impressive and food was to a good standard although the menu did not change & felt a bit limited by the end of a 8 night stay but plenty of good resturants nearby. Great relaxing atmosphere, more suited to 18's and above looking a more authentic Bali and a slightly slower pace than other areas such as Kuta & Ubud. Candidasa area provides beautiful sunsets, seafront views and a excellent insite in Balinese culture if you look. The staff is very friendly and we had a clean and comfortable room. The pool area is beautiful and the large couches are a nice touch for a mid day snooze. I do love that the property was extremely peaceful and relaxing with the waves crashing right below. The grounds do also need some repair and upkeep. Restaurant is just ok. We arrived and were immediately taken by this stunning hotel! The rooms are beautiful and the bathroom blew our mind! The staff were very thorough with the check in and made sure we knew everything we needed to. You are right on the beach, not somewhere you could sunbathe though, but people were swimming there when the tide was lower. Great for exploring the local area. There is a lot of staff, probably far too many and you sometimes feel a bit watched. We ordered food and there was 4 people gathered around awaiting our order. Sometimes less is more. Accomodation is fantastic, pool is great and the Danish lady on reception is very friendly and offers tips on where to go.
