Beautiful resort grounds, great service, amenities, stunning views of sunset, outdoor bbq grills (which was dirty and we had to scrape and clean) and pools. Obviously the beach and ocean was the best part. We enjoyed yoga and other classes and kids activities they offered. We walked to Disney Aulani along the lagoons but I wasn’t impressed at Aulani at all. It was crowded and beach chairs were so close to each other and it just felt very populated. Nothing magical. I honestly preferred our hotel Marriott. It was spacious and relaxing and we had a trip of a lifetime. Our vacation was like a dream! Stayed in Aulani the year before, so our expectations were high, but besides the great pool experience for the little ones, this place was just as great, for less than half the price! Only suggestion is to request a room higher than the 5th floor. We were originally on the 4th floor and our room was very dark. Every vacation we take from now on will be compared to this one. This resort is beautiful and was perfect for our family of five. Our children still talk about this trip almost a year later. I cannot say enough to do it justice. The grounds, the room, the service were all spectacular. My only negative comment would be the lack of restaurants. It was our first time in Ko'Olina and this resort. The staff was fantastic and we so helpful even though I arrived around 11pm with my little girl fast asleep. Our room was clean and it was the biggest 2 bedroom condo I have ever stayed in and would nicely accommodate 2 families or 8 people. There were many pools and a great pool for families with kids. The beach is dmdll but it's perfect for little ones and fun yo paddle board in. The cove kept out the big waves. This is a great place to stay for everyone and the ground and staff were wonderful. If I could've given 10 stars I would've. The drive out to the west side of the island was beautiful and not congested with highrises. The views of the mountains and the ocean was pristine. The hotel is located in the opposite direction of Waikiki, and I am glad I chose this location. I wasn't in the middle of "tourist kingdom" and that allowed me the opportunity to easily mingle with the local people, local shops and eateries, and I was able to really experience the island and its host culture. ##### Jody F. ---
