If location and view are important to you while spending your vacation time at Waipouli Beach Resort, it doesn’t get any better than this….Unit D406 is a Top Floor Penthouse perched in the CENTER of the complex over-looking the pool straight out to the ocean. There are only two other Penthouse units at the resort that have DIRECT OCEAN VIEWS over the stunning lazy river swimming pool. All others with ocean views over the pool have angled views due to obstructions from other buildings.

The Waipouli Beach Resort and Spa by the Sea are conveniently located approximately 10 miles from the airport, halfway between Princeville and Poipu, in the historic town of Kapaa on the Coconut Coast. This 5 star resort has won several builder awards, including the 2006 'Award of Excellence'. The Crown Jewel Penthouse has a Sub-Zero refrigerator, Wolf Range, Brand New Stainless steel Dishwasher, granite counter tops, and travertine tile. No expense was spared on the quality and construction.

The resort is its own paradise within the wonderful island of Kauai. The resort boasts the only salt water swimming pool on the island. Water slides, water falls and a lazy river to float down with your sweetheart or kids. The sandy bottom entrance and play area for the kids will keep them occupied for hours. Three separate spas at different temperatures. Tiki Beach Bar, poolside massage, poolside snack/restaurant and sandy beach steps from your home away from home.
The resort is within walking distance to Starbucks, Longs Drugs, Safeway, Papaya's health food, McDonalds, Pizza, Jamba Juice, and several high end restaurants as well as local Hawaiian style vendors.

Coconut Marketplace is a short two minute drive with lots of shops and additional dining. One can stroll over 60 shops and restaurants brimming with everything from resort wear to unique jewelry, local artwork, collectible treasures, and handmade crafts. The location of the resort on the island, as well as the resort itself, is the ultimate Hawaiian experience.

Beautiful views of the pools and ocean. Onsite restaurant/bar with delicious food and drink, though their hours are a little restricted. The kitchen was well stocked. We usually had our breakfasts and lunches in the condo and went out for dinners. Beds were comfy and there was plenty of seating for 4. Very clean with plenty of towels and a washer and drier in the unit which really came in handy. There was a closet with beach chairs and umbrellas, boogie boards and such for our use. Excellent communication with owners. Would definitely stay here again.!

Perfect Spot

The description of this property seemed too good to be true. But it is accurate. I stayed here with my daughter. We had separate bedrooms, shared the spacious common areas, and we had the best time. The kitchen is fantastic and well-stocked with equipment, and the grocery store is right across the street. The location was perfect for us, too, as we had several day-outings planned on both the north and south sides of the island throughout the week.Finally, Lori was fantastic and answered all our questions quickly. She accommodated a special request that really helped us out with our schedule (thanks, Lori!), and helped us plan our stay before we even got there.

Great View & Location

Was celebrating a job anniversary with family and wanted a great place to vacation and this was the one! Great location in Kapaa, close to shops and restaurants. Then the resort itself was very comfortable, and we had a great view of the lazy river and the ocean. Nice quiet 2-bedroom unit with privacy and a good common kitchen living room area. Great communication with the property manager who provided accurate information making the check in/out procedures very easy. We hope to stay here again!

The unit was as advertised. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, beach chairs tucked into a closet for our use was nice. We had an issue while we were there, but Lori was super responsive and did the best she could to assist. The communication before we rented (had some questions), after we officially rented, and while we were there was really top notch.

Beautiful property at a great location with lots of amenities

This location was a perfect blend of everything crucial. First, the weather was a huge plus. It seemed to us that it rained less than in the north and more southern areas. Of course, the rain comes and goes, and didn't stop us when doing activities in other areas, but it was nice to wake up every day to beautiful sun. Because it's located right in the middle, we easily explored both the northern and southern coasts. There was a grocery store & several other shops across the street. On the property, the pool & hot tubs were just lovely. Super clean & beautiful. I wish they would have allowed a few inflatables in the pool for the kids but other than that, there was nothing not to love about the pool. My kids especially enjoyed the family hot tub & slides. We were there in the fall so the surf was a little more intense & that limited being in the ocean right outside the resort but super close, were a few other beaches that had a little more natural barrier and were better for swimming with small kids. The restaurant on the property opened at 3pm each day & offered delicious food and drinks, as well as a great view. The condo itself was also super clean and felt new. Comfortable beds/pillows and lots of space for our family of 4. I just loved the view every day and appreciated the boggie boards, chairs, & noodles to use. Lori and David were quick to respond and very accommodating. The concierge also offered great advice and was another added plus over other VROBs.

What a beautiful stay in this lovely condo with great amenities. The place was spotless! We had a great time swimming in the pool, walking the nearby path and the beach, and accessing all the different day trips we could pack in. :) Plus, the sunrise. Unbeatable.

Perfect island stay

This is my second stay in this unit. Everything was ready on our arrival. Communication with manager was efficient and friendly. Beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels were available for our personal use and the central location allowed visits to several beaches. Good food and shopping are close by and the central location makes all attractions on the island easy to reach. The evening views of the resort and beach are spectacular. I hope to have another visit to this perfect retreat.

This was an amazing place. Very clean, perfect location and a beautiful view. Check-in was super easy and the host was very helpful. There was one minor thing we didn’t like and that was the lack of lighting in the living room. It made it hard to see at night when sitting at the dining table. And one complaint that was a little more troubling, was that someone opened our door to come into the room around 11 AM. We were all sitting or standing around in the kitchen or living room area and saw him come in. He asked if we were checking out on that day and we said no, we check out tomorrow. It was concerning because he entered the room with no knocking it announcement, and then the fact that he didn’t know what day we were checking out. Other than those two things, the room was wonderful!!!

This is a spectacularly beautiful property. The pool is stunning and so much fun. Our 7 year old grandson was there pretty much all day. He loved the family spa and we enjoyed an exciting but short rain shower one afternoon. The raindrops made amazing patterns as they hit the water. My husband and I walked the pool everyday, enjoying the beautiful gardens and waterfalls. Our favorite had a secret cave you could enter through the waterfall! Lori, our host, was super responsive. We really appreciated her rapid and complete responses. The beach was beautiful and we got to see several monk seals as they sunned themselves, or just digested a big meal. The only thing that could have been better is if the beach were snorkle-able. It was stunning, but not safe enough for us to get into the water. But, again, my grandson made a game of running from "sneaker waves," so we still made good use of the beach. I have to say that being right across the street from a safeway, some fast and slower food places, and a terrific shave ice establishment made our lives so much easier. We can't wait to come back.
