Aloha! Welcome to our freshly updated oceanfront condo located on the "Garden Island" Kauai.
- The condo offers stunning views of the culturally significant Wailua Bay and the lush mountain range beyond. My grandparents’ home, the condo was sold, with regret, in 2016, but joyfully reacquired by us in 2021! This 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo is truly steps from the beach, as well as a short walk to fine dining and shopping. Completely remodeled and furnished in 2021, this condo has all the amenities including custom cabinets, wide plank oak flooring, designer-picked furniture, and art. This condo provides you with everything you need to relax and enjoy your island stay! *This condo does Not back to the parking lot.
- The complex, appropriately named Lae Nani, meaning "beautiful face", boasts abundant tropical foliage and is nestled on the coast of Kauai's Wailua Bay. Wailua Bay is one of the most sacred places on the island and the ancestral home of the Hawaiian Royals. The stone remains of a sacred temple, known as a "heiau”, sit on the edge of this property, along the coast, and is still visited and used by local Hawaiians today.
- Lae Nani has a private gated parking lot, a tennis court, a heated saltwater pool, gas grills, a beach, Keiki (children's) pool, fish, turtles, good snorkeling, and the occasional "endangered" native monk seal.
- Lae Nani is located on the east shore in the town of Kapa’a. Kapa'a is centrally located on the island putting everything within easy driving distance, including the airport which is only 10-minutes away. In short, everything you need for a perfect getaway to paradise!

This condo does Not have A/C - We rely on the Tradewind and ceiling fans to provide cool breezes throughout the apartment. The jalousie windows in the bedrooms as well as in the ocean-facing living room can be opened to allow for the flow of air. Kauai is in the tropics, and it does get warm in the summer, but we have never felt A/C was necessary and would detract from the Hawaiian experience as well as the island's sweet scent of plumeria.

The moment we walked into Kara's condo we knew we were in for a fabulous stay. The view from the patio was breathtaking, the rooms were perfect to support 2 couples and the kitchen was so well appointed we thoroughly enjoyed all meals in. Too many special decorating touches to list but the condo was top notch. The grounds of the property were also gorgeous. We took the 2-minute walk to the beach and/or the pool every morning then enjoyed coffee on the lanai. Couldn't be happier with our stay. Kara was also so responsive and helpful. Truly a 5-STAR stay.

Beautiful condo! Everything was perfect, comfortable beds, beautiful lanai with relaxing furniture and perfect view of the beach, so relaxing listening to the waves. Kitchen had everything you would need. Classy decor with great furniture and art work. Everything you need for the beach provided, beach chairs, umbrella, which was super important!! No detail was missed. Loved the two master suites with king beds! The grounds were impeccable. Parking is super convenient. The best unit in the complex! Thank you fior everything!

Perfect stay!

Beautiful condo with a wonderful view! Condo was even better than the pictures and hotel quality, which was perfect for our stay. Nice beach, very convenient and short walk to restaurants and shops. Loved the restaurant on the beach next door where we chose to have cooked breakfast most days and drinks in the evening. Great location for driving around the island as well!

Our stay at Lae Nani was everything we hoped it would be. The condo is extremely clean and the decor is beachy and charming. The view from the lanai is gorgeous. The beds and bedding are very comfy and there’s a fun restaurant, Lava Lava, right next door. Would love to stay here again.

Amazing property, view, location! The condo had everything we needed- well stocked kitchen, beach gear, even a washer and dryer. The beds were very comfortable (living room furniture less so but we were early home to even use the space). Best of all was the amazing view from the lanai and the beach outside. Relaxing stay at great location

Located in town of Kapaa the condo has a lovely quiet, residential feel with direct beach and pool access. Eating places in walking distance- especially loved all the Coconut Market Place had to offer (farmers market -Tue and Thu), food trucks and close to Lava Lava beach club etc. The house is clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and supplies were well stocked (dishwashing pods, washer dryer etc). We sat out on the lanai every night enjoying the evening breeze, listening to the waves on the beach. Overall, just what we needed for a relaxing vacation.

Rare find to have two master bed/bath suites, and even more rare to find one decorated so nicely & comfortable! There were so many small things that helped make it delightful, eg plenty of hangers & towels, kitchen with nice cookware, spices, etc, many hooks in bed & bath to hang towels, clothes, great W/D, clear directions for electronics... All of that on top of a great view/lanai & very comfortable beds, along with superb communication with Kara. Definitely recommend!

We really made ourselves at home for our 10-day stay. The view, charm, comfort, and thoughtful details made this place easy to enjoy. The condo had everything we needed although my son would say air conditioning please. With that said there are many great ceiling and mobile fans. I also enjoyed the grounds, pool, beach and walking path nearby. Being in the water or outside under a palm tree in the heat of the day was super enjoyable. This is truly a special place. Dream vacation

This condo made us feel like we were on a dream vacation. The location is absolutely perfect, with the keiki beach, the pool and especially with the Coconut Market just 5 minutes away by foot, where you can dine and shop. A 5 minute drive will take you to all the necessities. The few times we stayed and cooked, the kitchen was fully stocked. No AC but never felt the need of it either, with the constant ocean breeze, and the ceiling fans. We slept like babies. Communication with host was easy. I truly wish we had never left. I hope we can come back in the future! Mahalo!

Amazing view! The pictures do not give it justice!

From the moment we arrived we knew we picked the right place to stay. The condo was so perfect and so comfortable. We had everything we could need and more. From the "extras" in the kitchen (juicer, spices, etc. and all the other items available to use such as chairs, boards, flippers and more! Trust me when I say that the pictures on VRBO do not do it justice because the view from the lanai is truly breathtaking! The condo was also perfect walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, Passion Bakery Cafe and of course the Lava Lava Beach Club. Kara was also very responsive if we ever needed anything. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Trip in Kauai !

We were so happy that we stayed at this beautiful condo. We could not have asked for a better location for our first time on the Hawaiian Islands. Kara is a very personable host and was very patient and thorough answering my many questions prior to our stay. The condo is tastefully decorated and the pictures are exactly as we experienced it. The grounds are meticulously manicured and reminded us of a mini botanical gardens. The pool is spacious and very clean with lots of chairs. The beach on the property is wonderful. In fact, we decided that we considered it one of the top 5 beaches that we visited on the entire island due to its privacy and access. Great for little ones in the keiki area. Also saw many fish without snorkeling since the water was very clear. The location on the coconut coast was ideal if you want to be able to drive from one side of the island to another side for the many activities. We also loved the Marketplace that is a five minute walk from the condo with a variety of unique shops and a few restaurants. Try the Lava Lava Club.So much fun! The sunrises are an absolute bonus at this location. We are already talking about staying here again when we come back to this beautiful island.
