Our third-floor garden view condo has a fully equipped kitchen, 1 bedroom and 1 full bathroom. The bedroom has a king size bed. There is also a pull-out queen sleeper sofa in the living room, fully stocked with linens, towels, kitchen utensils, and appliances. We manage several condos at Pono Kai as well as the entire property, so the resort's housekeeping and front desk are available with this condo. The resort is located in the historic town of Kapaa, Kauai. You can catch the sunrise in the morning over the Pacific Ocean or even see whales during migrating season. The resort is within walking distance of restaurants, boutiques, shopping and grocery stores. The bathroom is furnished with starter soap, shampoo and conditioner, along with a hair dryer. There is an iron and ironing board within the unit as well. The Pono Kai Resort has many amenities on site. Pickleball, basketball, exercise room, shuffleboard, putting greens, croquet court, cornhole, ping pong, board games, just to name a few. You can rent bicycles close by and we are located within 5 minutes from water activities such as; swimming, canoeing, kayaking, surfing, etc... There are BBQ's located throughout the resort and coin operated laundry facilities located within each building. The Pono Kai is a great resort where you can truly relax and enjoy all that the Garden island of Kauai has to offer. The location was fantastic, just steps away from the water and right along the scenic 8-mile trail. The unit had everything we needed, and we especially loved the balcony where we could relax and watch the waves.There were a couple of minor issues to note. We experienced some torrential rains during our stay, and one window leaked each time. Additionally, the room we stayed in was one of the older units that hadn’t been updated yet, and the floors were quite noisy.The air conditioning didn’t quite reach the bedroom, but we found that opening the windows helped keep the space comfortable. We stayed 22 days and the staff are great. Lots of places walking distance from condo. The beach out front is great. You can rent chairs, snorkeling gear , coolers and more. There weee nearby hammocks and other seating just for this purpose. The condo was clean and well maintained. This was a very easy place to fall in love with. ##### Deana L. Love the restricted ocean view and the sound of waves crashing onto the beach. Condo is very close to the beach, but waves at the time were too rough for swimming.
