Property is 3 star but have enough about it that with a little extra could become 4 star. Rooms are reasonably large, beds comfortable etc. A room safe would be nice. Some of the staff struggle with English which is a little surprising as there were a few English speaking tourists staying there. Id stay again if I return to Kaohsiung,.

Great location and nice view
My first time in Kaoshiung and this place was perfect. Near ferry to Cijin, restaurants, and attraction. The hotel is clean and very convenient at a reasonable price.

Great stay!!! The room is tidy and clean, with a great sea view. We enjoy the view very much. The breakfast is simple but tasty. People serving us were very nice too.

Nice hotel by the harbor
The hotel is very modern and furnishings are nice. Our king room had a lovely view of the harbor and a window seat to sit on and enjoy. The bed was super comfortable, like a big marshmallow! Breakfast was good and they offer coffee, water and snacks in the lobby all day. We had a nice time and the staff were kind and helpful.

The hotel is near the mouth of the harbor opening, so it's a great place to watch large ships come and go. I think it would be especially good if you have young kids as they would enjoy it. It's also very close to the Qijin Island ferry, which is a short (5 min) ride to Qijin.

Great Value, Wonderful Views
Wonderful location next to the harbor with a great view, near convenience stores and tourist attractions. Staff were accommodating and spoke English. Bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in at a hotel (very soft). Room was clean and spacious. Overall Watermark Hotel is a great value for the price.

Nice hotel to stay in
Nice hotel and nearby some tourist attraction. Stayed at the exec suite, almost everything in the room is great. The only downside is as follows: lack of bathrobe No wardrobe for your clothes No luggage stand, luggage has to be place on the floor No in room safe Toilet in bedroom is see through glass, not much privacy if you need them :)

Except for the harbor view this hotel offers, I regret booking this hotel. When we checked in, the hotel put us in a room that looks completely different from the room we initially booked. Its located in another building away from the main hotel and the room has dirty walls and old furnitures. After informing the staff our concerns, the hotel insisted that the room type we booked is the one they placed and we would need to pay additional fees to upgrade to a better room type. We paid the extra fee and finally were able to rest. But then the cable was unable to connect to the TV. The hotel phones were cutting in and out when we called the front desk so we had to call several times and use to phone in the bathroom for the staff to hear me. The bathroom shower gel ran out and the room is windy at night for some reasons. So I didnt get to have a good night sleep. I would never book this hotel again.

We stayed 2 nights and there was no housekeeping done. Accessible by a direct bus from Kaohsiung HSR. Easy to get to Cijing Island and a fair bit of food around. Breakfast provided was standard. There’s a dessert shop around that has very nice mango shaved ice.

Great Hotel!
If you are looking to stay in Kaohsiung, this is the place! Great view of the harbour! The rooms are fresh and clean. Bed is super comfy, breakfast is great. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Can’t go wrong with this hotel. Plus a Starbucks downstairs. A+++

I impressed by the toilet in the room, it is with heating and cleaning function. But the sink height is really strange. I am 166cm tall and still felt too high for me!!

Good value for money in a quiet part of Kaohsiung by the harbour. Large room, confortable beds and a very nice bathroom. Note that it is not extremely near the city centre or tourist areas (if that is what you are looking for), but it was fine for us.

Absolutely fantastic
What a fantastic hotel. OMG. The hotel is the best. From the start free drink and cake / biscuit bar. FREE washing machine and detergent (Pay for dryer) gym ok. Swimming pool ok. Room lovely. We didn't have sea facing room. Breakfast was sooooo good. Clean and good variety. Staff couldn't be more helpful. For the price it's a bargain.

Hotel situated right next to water, great scenery and view of harbor. However there are separate doors to the lobby and into the guest rooms. So after you check in, you would have to exit the building and then enter the guest rooms area through another entrance, was a little confusing at first. The hotel also provided washing machine and dryer so you can do laundry yourself but the dryer takes a little longer to dry your clothes. Overall very pleasant stay.

Nice hotel close to harbour.
Nice hotel close to harbour. Just need to spent the 10-15 minutes to cross over the bridge to get to the Subway station. Everything is great but alittle small unit. Air conditioner was quite warm despite after adjustment. Temperature ranging at 24-26 degree only. During the night, it can be over whelming warm and perspiring. Breakfast is simple and nice.

難以入睡休息的旅館
1月1日入住的，一開始給我們安排了一個房間，裡面有嚴重的雜音，應該是電器傳出來的，反映情況後給我們換了個小一點的房間，吹風機是壞的，偶爾可以用，吹幾下，又斷了，反正頭髮無法吹乾，然後晚上很難入睡，我本身過敏性鼻炎，床鋪和枕頭袋和被套應該是塵蟎蠻嚴重的，害我一直打噴嚏流鼻水，半夜三四點外面傳來喧嘩聲，應該是對面房間的人在開派對，一直開到凌晨四點多才結束，第二天早上想睡多一點，又被對面打掃清潔房間的吸塵機吵到，跟前台反映，只是說免費給我延長至中午12點check out，我想問多睡一小時可以彌補什麼？後面我自費續住了兩小時，這旅館好坑，不推薦入住，除非你真的很缺旅費，那就另當別論。
