(430 reviews) It’s located a bit far from the airport but they provide free shuttle service to coordinate with your flights and if you book tours with them, they also offer free pick up so you don’t need to worry about the location being distant. The room is spacious and clean. Shared toilet/shower room is also clean all the time with dry area to hang your clothes and stuffs. They also offer free breakfast which is sufficient to start your day. There is also souvenirs shop at the reception in case you would like to have some gifts. Staffs were helpful and friendly. Bonus point is that this place is perfect for you if you want to see Northern Light because it’s far from town and air pollution. There is no guarantee but for me I would love to have a higher chance. Caroline in particular was lovely and has multiple good recommendations for me and helped me out when the room I was assigned was not what I would have hoped for. They could improve the breakfast since it’s just basic carbs and nothing else. No protein, no fruit. But it wasn’t a big deal. Do yourself a favor and book a FULL DAY trip on the ice with Albatross. I had an unforgettable and amazing day. Using crampons for the first time and walking down ice might scare you but the guide Karl was amazing and he’s a great coach. It feels scary and awkward at first but it’s so worth it.
