"I was very pleasantly surprised by this property. i had booked a single room. when i entered i saw the bed,cupboard,desk etc. and i though well this is nice. then i opened the what i initially thought was a connecting door and voila... 2 more "rooms" appeared. yes, there are 3 separate rooms in this single room. one bedroom, one bathroom and one wc! it's like a mini suite! this is also the first time ever i saw an aircondition unit installed in a room around these parts. a fact that just...

"This is a wonderful hotel near the center of Alpbach. Our room was very clean and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was delicious with fresh and quality selections including eggs cooked to order. On-site parking. There is a well stocked honor bar on the lower level. The free city pass which allows you to take a free the bus to the local ski mountain for a ride to the top is a nice benefit. Lastly, if you stay here you will get a chance to meet one of the treasures of Alpbach, Gitte (Brigitte)....

"Our guesthouse apartment (#5, top floor) was very nicely built. clean, and spacious. It is right in the center of the small town of Alpbach. Overall - a lovely place to stay but you need to know about the parking, laundry, etc. The booking info on Orbitz said there was free breakfast and underground parking. Neither was true. I got a E20 ticket for parking outside on the street in a parking zone. We were promised a free local access card. Our landlady offered that to us on the afternoon of the...

"Reines Gästehaus. Restaurant geschlossen. Zimmer sind wohl frisch Renoviert und gut ausgestattet. Fernseh-Empfang war schlecht ( Antennenkabel ). Es fehlte ein Mühleimer in der Küche. Leider direkt an der Straße und für mich dadurch etwas zu Laut. War der einzige Gast im Haus, etwas gruselig. "

"The property is accurately described and the apartment is furnished with everything that is needed for an extended stay. It is an easy walk down the hill to Ellmau from the apartment. The mountain views from the apartment are spectacular. The owner is very easy to communicate with and always responds in a timely fashion. Our stay was for three days and we hope to return again. "The chalet is well equipped and has a great location, with very nice views from terrace and balcony. From the chalet we could start several hikes with amazing views. We also drove to other attractions not far away, like the Kaprun dams and the Hintertux glacier. We enjoyed a lovely stay in the area and can highly recommend!"
