The reception was well prepared and fast. I got a room on the 3rd floor with a beautiful view on the river and the town on the opposite site. In The Glory one is not too far from the busy area of Kanchanaburi, but has also quietness around. Facilities are good, although the dining and breakfast aeea should have arrangements to isolate it from the sometimes windy conditions of the riverside. Anyway fully recommendable.

Lovely hotel, staff didn’t speak much English but did their upmost to help you. Wouldn’t let me carry my bags, room overlooked the river and close to the tourist attractions.

5 Night Stayh
5 night stay. A few nice restaurants within a couple of minutes walk, 10 minute walk will get you to the many bars and restaurants the other side of the river. A 30 minute walk will get you to the famous bridge. Exactly what we wanted, somewhere close to the nightlife but not too close.

Great spot for the hotel
Excellent hotel for the price I paid . Right on the river just where I wanted to be in a nice quiet spot . Breakfast was fabulous with eggs done while you waited compaired to other hotels I have stayed in , we'll worth the cost compaired to other hotels in Thailand

Staying at Glory was an awesome experience. Location, staff and service were excellent. It is by the beautiful quiet River Kwai, not far away from the main attractions. Cycling around was the best way to see this place. Bicycles are provided for guest for free. The infinity pool and all the rooms facing the river are a plus. My family stayed for 3 nites totally enjoyed ourselves at Glory.

Great stay
Nice rooms and property. Close to the bridge and river view was beautiful. There were some parties going on at the property across the river and you could here the loud music on the first night. Bring conditioner if you need it as they only have shampoo. Room is a bit dark but perhaps to create a more relaxing environment. Would book again.

Great hotel on river kwai
Loved the reception area when we arrived. Staff were very friendly and spoke decent english. Room was very nice, only down side was they did not clean it or bring fresh towels after our first night stay. Pool was amazing. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner was ok, better to venture to town. We left before breakfast on the last day and the kitchen staff made us sandwiches and gave us fruit and yogurt. Overall amazing stay with a beautiful view of the river.

Awesome hotel
One of the best hotels I have stayed in. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable although the bed is rock hard. The view is very nice and pool is awesome. The staff are so friendly and the food is very good.

Lovely hotel convenient for Bridge Over River Kwai
We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights at the end of a hectic 3 week trip so that we could relax in peaceful surroundings while visiting the Bridge Over the River Kwai and the war memorials. It is a comfortable hotel, in a peaceful location a short walk away from the main tourist street of Kanchanaburi. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The staff were all lovely; there is limited English spoken but enough for us to get by. The breakfasts were included and were generous, with everything you would expect provided. The location was excellent for visiting the Bridge. By turning right as you leave the hotel, you approach the bridge after about a 15 minute walk at the quiet end, i.e. there are no tour parties or vendors. It is much more peaceful and appropriate. The only real downside to the hotel was the 4th floor location and lack of a lift, at least it helped us work off some of the excess holiday food and drink! The shower over bath arrangement is a little odd too, it's necessary to sit in the bath to use the shower as the shower hose is short.

NICE HOTEL
Nice hotel. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. Every room has a great view of the river and a nice balcony to enjoy it (while downing a sundowner maybe). Location is on the rural side of the river so it’s a short drive over the bridge to the town itself. This could be done on one of the hotels bicycle or even walked. The entertainment area and 7/11 are right at the crossing. There are two really good restaurants within walking distance. The Blue Rice is right next door and the beautiful Mangosteen Garden is a short walk away. Only complaint is at breakfast the eggs are pre-cooked and at best cool to cold. Prefer my eggs hot but otherwise it was okay.

Best thing going in Kan right now
Most resorts in Thailand are not well maintained. Something is usually broken, half broken or just very outdated. This resort gets it all right. One of the best property views, great swimming pool. Excellent breakfast and menu. Very nice, helpful staff. A beautiful and much needed resort in Kan.

Very convenient for walking or biking to bridge.
This is a super little hotel. My son and i went to visit the historical sights and also wished to see the real Thailand in the wilderness. The staff were very helpful and arranged us to go on a hiking trail and kayaking tour which was out of this world. They recommended a company called Tingle who were great. I wanted to visit the Bee Keeping centre nearby but it was closed. However, the boss was so kind and surprised us by buying us a large bottle of Wanna Bee honey and photos of the farm we had missed. The hotel was modern, super clean, ecologically minded (no noise pollution unlike the other hotels nearby) a simple but delightful breakfast over looking the river. The pool sparkled up at night and we could enjoy the waters edge. All in all this is a small but snazzy little hotel who have got it right! Well done!

Great hotel close to many local attractions!
The Glory River Kwai is a wonderful hotel to stay in for your trip to Kanchanaburi! All the rooms in the hotel face the River Kwai. We got the "Deluxe" room. It was a beautiful room and there was a large bed with the most comfortable sheets and pillows! Our room was on the third floor with our own balcony that faced the river. The room is made of concrete and is very modern. The hotel provided slippers and bathrobes and many other basic amenities (toothbrushes, soap, etc.). There was also a flat screen TV with many local channels. The hotel is incredibly clean and our sheets, towels, and amenities were changed/replaced daily. One of the coolest things about this hotel is the infinity pool. It lights up like the stars at night! Guests can also eat dinner and relax beside the river on a wooden dock if they wish. The daily breakfast that is included in your stay is nice with a few basic options (Asian and Western). It is outdoors and the scenery as you eat breakfast is lovely. The location of this hotel is great! It is a 5 minute walk to the "main" road that leads to the Death Railway (River Kwai Bridge) and a 25 minute walk to the bridge. The train station and bus station can also be accessed by walking or through a tuktuk. We took a bus from the bus station to the Erawan waterfalls (2 hours) for 50 baht/person. Thus getting around from the hotel is easy. Overall we'd highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return the next time we go to Kanchanaburi!

Good location, good service and comfortable room
The hotel is located in the center of Kanchanaburi, very close to the bridge over the river Kwai. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. We like the balcony and the pool. The staff is very nice and helpful. However, the breakfast took so long to come (40 mins), I realized after that the cook forget it.
