This hotel is one of my favorites! It is right across the street from a temple and the area is smack dab in the middle of Kyoto life. We took a walk down the neighborhood and met a lovely woman running her coffee shop. The staff is so helpful. They offer luggage delivery. It’s not far from Kyoto station.

Everything about our stay was great except for the shower. It would randomly change temperature dramatically while you were showering and would not change back until 3-4 minutes has passed. Other than that, the staff was very accommodating, it was very clean and much more extravagant than I was expecting!
