The property is nice and peaceful, it is away from the centre, but their is a bus to take you thier. I think the rooms do need updating and the buffet restaurant to bring it to 5* and also needs to serve branded drinks which i was told they did before i booked so was abit dissappointed in this. The pool area is lovely. I also think it needs water machines so you dont need to queue up for it as the queues where sometimes quite long with 1 person serving.

Overall an very underwhelming experience and the hotel is in no way 5 stars. Only a small portion of the hotel looks like the images, the rest of the facilities are extremely dated and not to the same standard. The nicer pool area (cluster of pools shown in main images) are far too small for the hotel capacity. No chance of getting a lounger in the nice area of the pool without waking up at 5am to reserve one. The loungers are also filthy and all the grass paroles are ripped. The “spill-over” loungers around the main pool and the other non-pictured pool and the beach are the plastic blue hospital gurney style loungers, incredibly uncomfortable and certainly not in line with the style the hotel wants you to think you are getting. The food is bland, this is across the main buffet and a la carte, very little seasoning, almost no vegetarian options. The images of the main restaurant show the small outdoor area, unless you want to queue for 30 mins the actually space you’ll eat looks like a school canteen from the 90s, the crockery is grotty and certainly not 5 star. The 3 a la carte restaurants are another case of false advertising, they’re are all locations within one space and the menus are very limited. Overall would avoid but we had a nice holiday but purely due to the company we keep and the few lovely staff members, shout out to Ennie at the beach bar who is lovely.

Staff friendly can only work with what they have. Rooms basic and extremely noisy in mornings cleaner’s screeching furniture across floors. not a good experience
Super smart hotel owner has a deal with private transportation. So if you need taxi you need to call 2 hours in advance plus! you need to pay the road where thy are coming. We wanted to hang out and wanted to call taxi but this is the answer from reception. Plus they are not offering any transportation from town to hotel. Food ehh not bad :) Cleaning okay.. facilities are old not like in the photos. There was a electrical leakege on the button next to kids pool.. nobody cared about my warning:) FAR FROM EVERYTHING. No entertainment..Staff is so friendly and nice but I hate the mentality of hotel. If you are couple Dont :)

Food was nice, good variety of things to choose from buffet although lots of flies around some of the food sections. Impossible to get a booking in one of the main restaurants. Bar staff were moody, room was nice and clean. Nothing to do close by for walks etc. Most of the evening entertainment was boring.

Generally, the hotel was fantastic, clean, good food options, staff were amazing, rooms were lovely…, but, unfortunately there is such an issue with sunbeds that for me, it ruins the whole experience. It didn’t feel like a holiday when you have to get up at 6:30 am to secure a sunbed. We saw 2 fights over sun beds during our weeks stay. For this reason alone, I will not go back, and as this was my first experience at a Mitsis hotel, I probably will purposely avoid all Mitsis hotels as I wouldn’t want to risk being in the same situation again. Very unfortunate.

From our side try to prevent the sunbed reservations, we do collect the belongings left on the sunbeds which are not used for more than an hour in order to give the other guests also the possibility to enjoy their day in the central pool area. However we would like to mention that next to the second pool or at the beach one can always find a free sunbed.Nevertheless we do hope that the other aspects of your stay will meet your expectation and you we'll travel back home with a lot of pleasant memories. We visited the hotel with our two children in May. Overall the property and the rooms were nice but I feel the hotel didn't live up to our expectations. Upon check-in, we weren't provided with any general information on where to find things and spent most of the first day just trying to find our bearings. The hotel could do with more staff in the bars, it took nearly 30 minutes just to get a coffee because only 1 person was serving. Sadly we struggled with the food options as vegetarians as there were limited options and things weren't labelled to indicate what was suitable or not. Ended up feeling quite repetitive. I think Norida could do more to be family friendly, even trying to get a glass of milk for my children in the restaurant turned out to be a problem - we were told to go to a bar to get milk as they couldn't provide. The drinks were average and local spirits. I wouldn't recommend coffee in the restaurant, instead get from the coffee bar. The pool with slides is fun for kids, despite the water being cold. The kids club was a nice way to keep the kids entertained as the staff are accommodating and encourage different activities. The mini disco was nice but a bit too late for younger children - one day it started at 9pm. Sadly this hotel wasn't for us, but I can see why it might appeal to couples or those with older children

Beautiful, relaxing environment for a wonderful week in paradise! Pool facilities are lovely and the private beach is very large with plenty of sea side facilities. Everything was very clean, all the communal facilities, toilets and our room! Loved that the hotel provided 2litres of water each day and they were very efficient with any extra requests. Good selection of food, definitely something for everyone at the main dining buffet! Loved the vibe in the evenings at the a la carte restaurants being serenaded by a saxophonist whilst over-looking the Aegean Sea - beautiful! Occasionally a bit of a wait for a drink at peak times but it was a nice atmosphere and the staff were clearly working as fast as possible. Would absolutely visit again!

Great staff, location, services, value
Fantastic staff, location and services. The hotel is located on the south side of Kos, 20min from airport (but you dont hear airplane traffic at all).The rooms are simple but contain all you need.The bed was good. The view from our seaside apt was beautiful.Good bus connections to the nearby town Kardamena.The resort grounds are beautifully landscaped.The all inclusive self-servicecrestaurant had good choice of food. Pancake place yum. The alacarte restaurants have terrace with stunning views but limited slots and need to be prebooked but the reception staff were able to help us out with our requests. There is beautifully landscaped multilevel poolside area and long natural beach. The poolside beds get taken very early so if you are late starter you will need to use the sunbeds on the natural beach. The non alcoholic cocktails in the all inclusive bars need a bit of improvement. If you are early sleeper ask for room away from main poolside as there are live concerts till 10-11pm.The place giving water bikes was overcautious as at limited wind they shut services for safety reasons. In summary,the location and landscaped areas are fantastic, the views stunning, the food of good choice snd decent quality.The resort staff is among the best I have ever seen, they will go out of their way to make your stay great. There are way more expensive resorts nearby but I doubt you will get better experience.Big thank you to all staff and my partner says hi to Giorgos and Djazia.

A good holiday experience
We enjoyed our hotel as much as we could. The food was good and the all inclusive was fantastic. The children really enjoyed the pools especially the sliding pool. My reason for giving it a 4 star is because the hotel is not really a 5star in my opinion, the toilets in our maisonette had very bad smell when flushed and the toilet seats were brown in colour, my kids complained about not having sausages available, the reception team are not very professional and were not helpful in many things. The hotel deco is not to my taste. The taxi to the town is expensive at €10 for a 10-15mins drive. I enjoyed my yoga and dance class though. The beach is awesome so because of it I will go back but will stay in mitsis blue dome which is more like my style.

Beautiful hotel
What a wonderful stay we have had. We appear to have been upgraded to a sea view room away from the main resort, closer to the sister hotel Summer Palace which was excellent. The main hotel is a little dated but we found the infinity pool area by our rooms much nicer & quieter. All inclusive was very good value & you can book the a la Carte restaurants too which is much nicer (fully recommend the fish restaurant) All in all an excellent stay.

Great stay though not quite 5* level
Great stay, although It is more of an entry level 5*. Certain things could be improved such as the buffet food, rooms are basic and better selection of cocktails. Also, sun beds are limited and a la carte restaurants have to be booked within 5 minutes of when they are released, However the staff are extremely friendly and it was overall a good hotel for a short stay.

Lovely hotel with excellent facilities and food is delicious. Our 2nd year running at this hotel and although different due to the Pandemic, we still had an enjoyable holiday. Going by last years holiday, I would definitely visit again.

Absolutely wonderful stay at the Mitsis Norida from the moment we arrived the staff made us feel so welcomed and relaxed. Everything was very well organised, food was fantastic, staff were just lovely and it was a real highlight for getting to teach my HIIT workout class as offered by the animation team. I hope very much to return again!

Fantastic service, staff very kind and always smiling, very helpful and friendly. Amazing food all day long (especially a'la carte restaurants). Nice outdoor pools with salty water. Rooms very clean, mini bar refilled every day. Beach bar open until late night. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises

Best hotel ever
We went to norida beach with our children 2 and 9, a family friend and my brother, i can honestly say it was the best all inclusive holiday we have been on, Every member of staff is helpful and friendly, the animation team is the best we have seen, go out their way to remember everyones name and are absolutely brilliant with the children, we are booking again next year

My boyfriend and I booked Mitsis Norida beach on a very last minute deal through expedia, the same day we were due to fly on an alternative holiday through Thomas Cook just as the company went into liquidation. We were surprised and delighted to find that Norida still had availability and so we booked a 1 week all inclusive holiday without delay and flew out the next day. Location: Norida beach is within the Mitsis complex just outside the resort of kardamina. We haven't ventured into the local resort,partly because we didnt fancy the look of it from the bus, and partly because we've just genuinely not found the need to stray from our beautiful hotel, but we did spend one day in Kos town. The local bus takes you from directly outside the hotel at 9.30am and returns at 2.30pm -very handy and a worthwhile visit. There is an on-site mini market and a supermarket directly across the road which means that everything is just to hand. Rooms: rooms are clean and comfortable with comfy beds and excellent air conditioning. The TV channels are mainly in Greek and German but that didnt bother us as we haven't spent a lot of time in the room. Mini bar is handy and stocked every 2 days. Bathroom is lovely - big and clean. Hotel: The hotel itself is faultless and immaculately clean. It's clear that the staff really take pride in everything they do and they
