Gun Lake Cottage - Bonfire, AC, Full Kitchen, Gazebo! Dock your boat or rent one

Cute 2 bedroom, 1 bath with a full kitchen, AC, heat, laundry room, towels, pillows, blankets, bonfire, dock, and more! One bedroom has a queen size bed while the other has a full size bed. We also have 2 queen size air mattresses to use. The Gazebo is perfect for enjoying morning coffee or relaxing at night. Fire up the grill or use the bonfire. We’re on the channel and have a dock you can use for your own boat or rent our pontoon (additional cost, please ask). We even have a 5-person pedal boat and 2 kayaks you are more than welcome to use to explore! You’ll have a great time out on Gun Lake! The sunrises/sunsets are gorgeous!

Everything was amazing. Beautiful area and cozy property. We had every amenity we could hope for and even took the opportunity to rent the pontoon boat. Could not have asked for a better weekend getaway.

Very Cute

It was a very nice cottage. It’s right on the water which is nice. We’re from Florida so seeing snow was a treat for us. We liked that there was a local grocery store not too far up the road. Overall it’s a nice place for a couple to stay or a couple with one child.

Great get away

Great two bedroom cottage - it is on a quiet canal on Gun lake. Cottage was clean with all the amenities you need accept for food. We took our own boat and explored the lake. Explored surrounding towns and had a great time. Give this place a 5 star.

Great for our wedding weekend.

We got Married at Bowens cidar mill and this was very close to the venue. Overall it was a very nice stay with an effortless check in, the lake house was adorable and intimate and the host was very nice. Lighting a fire in the fire pit while enjoying the patio furniture on the lake before our big day was just what we needed thank you so much!

Pontoon Trip

We absolutely love this place! A perfect house on the lake with a modern pontoon boat. Mike is an excellent host and has the house well equipped with everything you could possibly need! The lake has very good fishing and is also big enough to not get over crowded on the weekends. Probably the best lake we have ever been to!

Great little please for a getaway

Mike’s property is great if looking to spend time outdoors. We enjoyed the use of the grill, dinner under gazebo, fire pit, kayaks, paddle boat and also took his pontoon out (separate fee). Not many vacation rentals offer boat rental and was a nice extra to be able to enjoy, especially the sunset over the lake. We also enjoyed the location being on a channel, quieter.

Quant cottage

The place is very nice and clean. Everything you need is there. Rental of the pontoon right on property was very convenient. The shower stall is a corner unit and quite small. The bedrooms are small and not much room to move around. Otherwise the place was perfect.

Nice Getaway

This cottage is small but has everything you need. It comfortably fit 3 adults and 2 small dogs. Kitchen was fully stocked with supplies and bathroom had plenty of towels for everyone. We chose it because it was directly on the lake. It’s a quiet community with nice neighbors. Grocery store, gas station, pizza and ice cream shop were less than 5 min away. The pontoon was very much worth it. Boat was in good shape and the lake was family friendly and easy to navigate. Mike was a great host and checked in frequently. The cabin did have a musty smell but that could be do to the weather (rained some days). Unfortunately the propane tank for the grill ran out on our second time using it. Mike responded quickly and did offer resolutions however it seemed like an oversight. Regardless, we had a positive stay and still recommend this place!
