- This full of NZ character family bach has been a place for resting, surfing, and having fun for several generations. This location is great for walking the beach, swimming, surfing or fishing off the rocks or just gazing over the beautiful coastal hills and ocean. Enjoy the plentiful bird song and the waves rolling in just outside your window. Cosy up next to the roaring fire or enjoy al fresco dining on the deck in the sunshine. Only a few minutes walk to the beach access. Plenty of walks to do along Campbell Bay (dog friendly), Kakanui River, and Kakanui Beach. Walk along the coastline to the Kakanui River and over the bridge to the shop and Kakanui Beach.
