  • Kona Bay Estates is a gated and patrolled oceanfront community. The Sunset Beach House offers 2700 square feet of luxurious space. It is just 500 meters from the sea. Opening walls of glass offer indoor-outdoor living with spectacular views of the ocean and a private pool. Enjoy spinning dolphins, breaching whales, and sunset 365 days a year.
    The location is perfect. Walk to restaurants, bars, markets, and shopping in ten to fifteen minutes. Airport Beach, minutes away, is a lovely place to stroll. Kona Bay Estates has a large tide pool with a sandy beach, perfect for kids. Tennis courts, a children’s play area, free lane swimming at a community pool, pickleball courts, and basketball hoops are in the park right beside the community.
    Cap off your day with a game of pool while watching the sunset in the third-level open-air Crows Nest with Kona's best views.
    Two large oceanfront master bedrooms have king beds. The third bedroom has a king bed with a mountain view. Air beds are available. All bedrooms have TVs, full ensuites, outdoor patios, and air conditioning. The lower level is comfortably cooled with fans and ocean breeze.

Beautiful location and home

This property was amazing. We can't imaging a better view and enjoyed all of the amenities. After needing to re-locate our vacation due to the Lahaina fires, it was nice to just stay at the property and relax.

Incredible home in a private guarded neighborhood close to dining and shopping! We had an amazing time and was the best vacation we have had as a family due to this incredible home. Everyone had a great time and opening the home and enjoying the views and cool ocean air was the best!

Fantastic Kona Home

We had a great stay at this home. Perfect location that's right on the water, but also within walking distance of several restaurants and stores. Our 4yo daughter loved the keiki beach that's just a short walk south along the community rock wall. House was clean and exceptionally well-stocked. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Incredible Location

Our family enjoyed 6 wonderful nights in June. The house is beautiful and the views are magnificent. The location is perfect for walking to town or to the beach. Our daughters really loved the tidal pools in the backyard. We would highly recommend this house and hope to return. Thank you!

Beautiful house with a Fabulous view.

Wow! What a wonderful time we had in this beautiful house. Didn't want to leave. This house had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the crows nest and pool. The kitchen was spacious so everyone help with cooking and the clean up.

A stay to remember!

We were thoroughly impressed with the home, the property, the views, the cleanliness, decor details, etc. The home is beautiful and you can tell a lot of care went into making it this way! The beach on the property was heavenly for the kids and gorgeous to enjoy for adults too. Pool was a nice treat. Crows nest and sunsets... oh goodness, incredible! The coast views and the sound of the waves was amazing. The owner was very responsive and helpful! We appreciated the beach equipment in the garage. The kitchen had everything you could ask for plus some! Beds are very comfy and AC in the rooms is really nice. Our group was 5 adults and 3 kids (11, 7). Everyone had plenty of room and entertainment. This stay will be a lifetime memory for sure! Mahalo!

This home is amazing, great location, great views of the ocean, pool

Just a great place in a great spot. Great pool / deck / grand room. Great views from all over and amazing from the pool table / wet-bar 3rd floor. Obviously been a STR for a while a lot of the notes and equipment (surround sound equipment) is very dated everything still works but just be aware its not a new home. I few minor tweaks / updates and this home would seem like new. Don't be put off by these minor things this house is amazing just be aware of them. Main areas don't have AC but bedrooms do and it works great. Garage has many things you will need as well as kitchen very well stocked so skip the seasonings trip to the store!

Truly an oceanfront property! It was incredible to wake up to close-up views of the crashing waves. The kids had a blast in the tidal pools beside the home, as well as in the pool and on the rooftop while playing pool.

We had an amazing time. The house is beautiful and well cared for. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. We spent most of our time gazing at the ocean and watching whales jumping just offshore. Rest and relaxation was our goal and we got plenty of it!

Fantastic property and location to explore the big island.

It’s a wonderful home on the shore just north of downtown Kona. The location is ideal to go explore the big island. I highly recommend the home and the hosts were awesome.

What an amazing 5 days!!! It was so hard to leave! I had looked at the property pictures so much online prior to our trip that when we arrived it was just surreal that I was actually there standing in the house I had viewed on line so often! LOL! The sunsets did not disappoint! Great location and amenities, from beach chairs, beach towels, and snorkel gear, to kitchen cookware supplies. Just an absolutely beautiful property! The host was so quick to respond to any questions I had prior to our arrival, and the directions for use of the house once we arrived was outlined well! We couldn't have asked for anything more!

Great family home on the Big island

Awesome gated neighborhood. Loved the kiki pond for swimming with the kids. Amazing views and awesome 3 bedrooms for us the kids and grandparents. The neighborhood was quiet but easy access to downtown!

Beautiful house right on the water

Great place to stay, the views are amazing, the water is right out the back gate. Kids loved the pool and the pool table. Great breezes throughout the house, well stocked with snorkel gear, etc.
