Here's what you can expect from this one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo: As you enter, you'll feel right at home with the Hawaiian atmosphere and welcoming vibe. The primary bedroom features a comfortable California king bed adorned with Hawaii-inspired decor. The bathroom is located in the hallway for guests' use and comes with a bathtub-shower combination. Enjoy the open layout of the living area, dining area, and kitchen. There's a pull-out sofa in the living room to accommodate extra guests. The fully stocked kitchen allows you to prepare your meals, and you can choose to dine either inside or on the screened lanai. The living area provides a great indoor and outdoor living experience. Inside, there's a table with chairs, and the lovely Hawaii vibes extend to the lanai, which offers ample seating and is screened in. I was sad to see how it had aged. Our condo was in need of upgrades: The mattress in the bedroom was not as comfortable as the hide a bed(which was in desperate need of cleaning) The shower head leaked, the faucets in the bathroom need more of a cleaning than we could give them. When the a/c was on you couldnā€™t go on the patio from the heat coming out of the heat pump. There was no safe in the unit so you had to take your valuables with you whenever you left.The knives in the kitchen needed sharpening. The scaffolding in the basement was a little concerning. The property was just as advertised with a remodeled kitchen, vinyl floors and many items in the closet for use such as beach chairs and an ice cooler. It was a real convenience to be able to walk to town which was just a couple of blocks away for shopping and restaurants. The unit had a great air conditioner and the kition was well stocked. It was great to have a washer/dryer to use. The neighborhood was very quiet. Now for the down side. The bedroom was a great disappointment! The carpet was very dirty (photos sent to management company), the foam pad on top of the mattress made the bed less comfortable in my opinion, and the linens were either old or of poor quality. Aside from the bedroom issues, the parking structure was undergoing a huge construction project to repair cracking and spalling in the top deck. The top deck parking was closed and the underground portion was a maze due to the huge jacks being used to shore up the upper deck. Priced accordingly for location and amenities.pool was not usable due to regulation issue, but ocean is a block away.street address/directions misleading to enter the complex and parking. you actually go down hanama place until it dead ends into the parking deck of the complex - you don't actually need to turn onto Alii with a vehicle. Easy enough if you know the area a bit. there is pedestrian access out to Alii via the parking garage or stairs from main parking deck level so you don't have to walk around the building/block to get to the main drag. just don't forget your key that opens the door access. your key also gives you access to the underground parking via the elevator.if you are a light sleeper you might want to use ear plugs on Sunday as the church bell next door does ring for services.no real dedicated workspace, but the kitchen table worked out fine and internet was fast and solid the entire stay. ##### Dana B.
