Shopping, dining, entertainment, swimming, snorkeling, surfing are all within 1/2 mile of this property. The pool at the complex is nestled in the center, and offers a quiet peaceful place to swim and hang out. Kona Kai B2 is a very nicely updated unit on the 2nd floor. Air conditioning and engineered wood flooring help to keep the condo cool and comfortable. This unit comes equipped with beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and a small cooler for guests use. It may or may not have some snorkel gear that was left by previous guests. We do not provide snorkel gear. The main bedroom bed was beyond worn out, and obviously so. There was a spot where the cushioning was completely shot and covered with some sort of pad, presumably to alleviate the problem (it did not work). My wife moved to sleep in the single bed in the second bedroom. Luckily we only had 3 people in the apartment. The couch in the living room was also remarkably hard and uncomfortable. On the first day we saw notices posted everywhere saying they had sprayed for pests that day. By the end there were some ants in the unit and I saw one cockroach which I killed. The pool was nice. The master bedroom bed was sagging on one side and was pretty much shot. They had towels, dishes etc. which we appreciated. The appliances in general were updated. If you want hot water get up early because by 9 am you're going to be taking a cold shower. The shower head was also kind of funky. All in all the place was suitable for our purposes but not really worth the price. ##### Andrew G. Stayed 9 nights in Dec 2021 ### 6/10 Okay #### Thaidra W. 20 Feb 2025 Liked: Check-in, communication, location Disliked: Listing accuracy #### Fantastic location and very welcoming community, but the unit itself failed to meet our expectations I gave a rating of 3 because, while the location was fantastic, the condo itself was poorly equipped. The kitchen was very understocked, utensils were covered in a greasy residue. The plasticware had a strong, unpleasant odor that seeped into the food, making it unusable.Many of the items in the property were either almost broken or simply didn’t work at all (like the hairdryer), and the air conditioning units were in desperate need of a filter change and a deep cleaning.As a two-bedroom condo, we expected enough beach equipment for four people, but there was only enough for two. The chairs we were provided were ancient, bulky, and uncomfortable, pool noodles were disintegrating. The pillows were stained yellow and worn out and the polyester sheets were cheap, hot and uncomfortable;in addition to very sunken mattresses.It’s unfortunate because, with better amenities, our experience could’ve been much better. The unit owner should update the condo’s furnishings to meet rental expectations.On a positive note, the management and grounds team were extremely helpful, friendly, and responsive. We would consider staying here again, but not in this particular unit. ##### Thaidra W. Etwas nervig war, wie schon in anderen Bewertungen erwähnt, dass das Wasser sehr lange laufen musste, bis es warm wurde. Zudem fanden wir es etwas umständlich, dass der Waschraum abends geschossen wurde, sodass die Wäsche dort dann eingeschlossen war. Das Bett war viel zu weich, wobei das natĂĽrlich absolut subjektiv und Geschmackssache ist. Super war, dass es neben Beach-Chairs auch Sandspielzeug fĂĽr das Kind gab und auch ausreichend HandtĂĽcher waren fĂĽr alle Gäste vorhanden. Die KĂĽche ist tiptop ausgestattet und wir fanden besonders das Kochfeld fpr die Pfannkuchen super :-) ##### Hannah B.
