There were basics in the kitchen and bathroom for our use. They also had items available to use at the beach. It was in walking distance to central Kona. The unit was clean, had pots/pans, utensils and containers to use along with some basic condiments. The air conditioning was in the living room and a ceiling fan and floor fan in the room. The remote control for the ceiling fan and light was temperamental (hopefully it was just the battery). The sliding door didn't lock, so I'm glad we were on the 3rd floor. It was also nice to have the use of beach amenities if we needed it. We did not rent a car — short walks to grocery store, beach, restaurants, historic locations, etc. were all easy to get to. I loved the bath tub :) Nice view of the ocean, accommodations are modern and comfortable. It is true that the condo is on the third floor as others have noted and it's a bit of a haul with your luggage, so plan for that. Road noise was an occasional issue, but with the fans running it pretty much provided a white noise that blocked that out.
