![We discovered this serene little beach last month. After turning off the highway there is a 2 mile drive over rocky unpaved terrain, but if you take it slow any kind of car should be able to traverse it. Our compact rental car did great. There is a parking area, and then a trail through the lava fields to the beach (less than a ten minute walk).  There’s plenty of tree cover providing natural shade if you don’t feel like taking an umbrella. We saw dozens of turtles bobbing around in the water and the rocky bay provides great snorkeling opportunities. In our 4 days on the big island this was by far my favorite beach #lifeatexpedia

"Wonderful place to stay. We book this at the last minute after diverting from a trip to Puerto Vallarta. Very clean, spacious condo. Quite complex with amazing pool. The kitchen is well stocked and tons of beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards which was so nice to not have to rent. Great pool and spa. Patio can seat a large family. Close to stores, shopping and the town of Kona. Lots of parking. "

"This place was absolutely amazing. Had a minor issue with the door code but it was handled promptly. There is plenty of beach toys, boogie boards, beach towels etc. The condo was stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils also with spices. There was laundry and dish detergent. I highly recommend you place a walmart order or hit up Costco on your way from the airport as it can take 25 min to get there. This truly is an amazing place with an amazing host. Our family will stay here again if it’s available. Fit our family of 7 perfectly. Thank you for an amazing stay. "

The condo was well-supplied with kitchen condiments and beach items, including towels, snorkels, and beach chairs. Ashok was excellent with communication and provided us with lots of information on what to expect. "
