Need a perfect home base for your Big Island Vacation? Perfectly located just two miles south of the Kailua-Kona pier, Casa de Emdeko is situated in close proximity to Ali'i Drive’s downtown area and nightlife - yet far enough away that you are able to relax amidst the peace and tranquility of your own slice of Hawaiian Paradise. Casa De Emdeko Unit #A308 offers a fantastic blue-water ocean view and is the perfect place to enjoy sunny days along the Kona Coast. This private and gated complex features many of the ingredients for a perfect Hawaiian vacation including a large oceanfront saltwater pool, an expansive entertainment pavilion, a sandy beach lounging area, outdoor BBQ –all in a park-like oceanfront setting! There is even an additional swimming pool along the interior of the complex. Unit #308 is conveniently located close to the elevator for easy access and has been completely and tastefully remodeled recently with all of the comforts to provide an extraordinary stay ! This bright and spacious unit is all brand new with smooth tile and stone work throughout and features a private stacked washer and dryer in the hallway of the unit, an upgraded kitchen with every appliance that a chef needs to concoct a delicious meal and also includes a bar area with 4 chairs for entertaining guests while cooking. Attached to the kitchen is the charming living room, furnished with seating, a television set for a cozy night of entertainment after a busy day of island exploring, and a couch that easily converts to a Queen bed for additional sleeping arrangements for 2\. There is also central air conditioning and ceiling fans throughout the home, a King sized bed in the bedroom, an adjacent bathroom that also opens to the hallway, and a lovely outside lanai with seating - including a lovely day bed to nap the afternoons away to the sound of the ocean and fragrant breezes provided by Kona’s almost continuous light trade winds. Despite its nickname, “The Big Island,” Hawai'i Island is not so big that you can’t drive around it in a day. Casa de Emdeko is a convenient home base to explore the Kona Coast, with such attractions as snorkeling at Kealakekua Bay, the National Historical Park of Pu'uhonua o Honaunau, and of course, the many beautiful beaches. When you’ve had enough sunshine, head south to Volcanoes National Park, then spend some time exploring the historic city of Hilo. Drive-up the gorgeous Hamakua Coast, visiting waterfalls and valleys along the way. The grounds were beautiful, both pools we’re inviting and refreshing, the complex was quiet, and barbecue area and pavilion convenient and using to use, The condo itself was very comfortable and the perfect size for us. The kitchen was easy to use. However, the pots and pans and cooking utensils with white sparse. The bathroom was nice, the bed and bedroom was cozy. The property manager communicated all expectations, processes and answered our questions. When entering into the complex there are security gates surrounding the front side of the property. The main "lobby" area had puzzles and games for guest to choose from and the map of the complex where you can easily find your space. When entering into the home on the right you'll find the one bedroom. Sheets on the bed are so soft, pillows were perfect, and the bed was mighty comfortable. The home does have a small dresser to use. In the closet in the bedroom is where you'll find the cooler, snorkel and boogie board gear. There are two doors to the bathroom. Bathroom was well stocked with all your basic necessities. If you continue down the hallway the third door will be your stacked washer and dryer. They work well on the settings we used. The kitchen was good for two people to be in it at a time, which worked for us. The location and amenities were delightful and we will be staying again in the future. ##### Bernadette C. Overall this condo was very clean and well stocked. The grounds and pool were beautiful. Every night we had a gorgeous view of the sunset. We enjoyed being so close to the ocean and watching the cruise ships come and go. The neighbors were friendly and quite. It was within driving distance to most things. When we had a question, someone responded right away. The bed was also very comfortable and the condo has AC. For me personally, I would not stay again for a few reasons. It was on the third floor which made bringing things in and out of the condo a little cumbersome. The parking lot inside the gate fills up quickly a lot of times leaving you having to park outside of the gate. There were only about 4 community BBQs in one location. Again with how far the condo was from that spot and having to go up and down three flights, we never used them for that reason. If you are looking for a place you can easily walk to restaurants and shops this is a little far and some parts have a narrow path to do so. ##### Jolynn M.
