Be sure to see the Virtual Video Tour. The link is the arrow or partial image to the left of the main picture above. This is one of only of a few two bedroom units that has air conditioning throughout. Why suffer with just a wall unit in the living room (like other condos), when you can have air in both bedrooms as well as the living room? Sit back and enjoy the spectacular, crystal blue and balmy Pacific Ocean from your large private lanai with tide pools just 30 feet away. This 2 bedroom ocean front unit is on the north corner of the top floor of the D building. This unit has the advantage of being cooler than many other units and experiences cooling, balmy breezes. There are side windows in the dining room, kitchen and each of the bedrooms, providing natural lighting and a cross breeze. There is an air conditioner, although with the good breezes it is usually not needed. Comfortable sleeping for up to 6 persons, there is a king size bed in the master bedroom, and a king size bed in the second bedroom, and a queen sleeper/sofa bed in the living room. TV's are in the living room and each of the bedrooms. Also positioned right next to the shoreline, the Resort’s recently renovated salt water pool and Jacuzzi is just a few steps away from the unit itself; as well as the four immaculately-maintained gas barbecues in the dining cabana adjacent to the pool. That is a great place to BBQ dinner, and watch the beautiful Kona Sunsets. Complete convenience, Hawaiian style! The Kona Reef is on the edge of Kona town, so you do not have to drive every time you want to go into town. You can walk to town in just a few minutes, and visit numerous restaurants, shops and the farmers market. It is really one of the most convenient locations in Kailua-Kona. This private condominium has everything you need for an unforgettable Hawaiian experience. It is fully furnished including dishwasher, washer/dryer, small appliances, hair dryer, dishes, utensils and linens. It includes dish washing soap, dish washer soap and a starter box of detergent. It is your own personal, tropical beach hideaway! Our availability calendar is always up to date, and we have multiple units available at the Kona Reef. Comfortable beds. Well stocked unit. You need to climb only 8 stairs to get to this floor, an elevator will take you the rest of the way. The compressor had gone out on main unit. Had to get parts from Oahu so it was not fixed yet when we left. Ceiling fans in bedrooms made it comfortable. Location of condo is excellent. ##### judy m. The good: amazing views, enough room for four to relax, short walk to restaurants and shopping, on the Ironman track, everything you need in kitchen, plenty of beach accessories, easy parking, and quick response to issues.The bad: misunderstanding with the cleaning crew so the condo was not cleaned prior to our arrival. The AC compressor went out the week or so before our stay and we were not informed or workaround provided until after complaining (although was quickly responded to and maintenance guy arrived the following morning with a window AC). Beds comfy, kitchen had everything to make meals barbq in common area were very clean!! Spent a lot of time on the Lanai Sunsets were Gorgeous! Miss the sound of the waves!! The complex is very nice with beautiful pool/spa and BBQ area. It is an easy few minutes' walk into Kona town but is still quiet. It's beautiful, clean, comfortable, and the perfect location. We had a total of 19 family members come to celebrate with us, 5 of us stayed at this property, and we by far chose the best. The unit has plenty of amenities for all the rooms and beach gear. The lanai has very nice furniture and is perfect for watching the sunsets, surfers and whales.
