Mark & Lisa’s Balinese styled home & garden is gorgeous & although we didn’t get to try out the pizza oven or outdoor bath (in winter), the log fire in the kitchen (which was lit before our arrival) kept us warm & cosy. It is a perfect place to return to after a day exploring around Karamea & the locals are very friendly. Communications, booking & accommodation were all PREMO! Try to stay at least 3 nights - it’s worth it! "

It is no longer a working deer farm (much to the disappoint of our kids) and you can’t walk around the property and up through the forest (much to the disappointment of my kids). "We had a wonderful weekend at the Alpaca farm. The eco-cabin is really comfortable and easy to feel at home in. The jacuzzi is really nice. The garden, the scenery and the animals are incredible: you feel like you've stepped out of time.

The hosts are very friendly and give very good advice on visiting the magnificent region.
