There is a few restaurants in walking distance and other beaches/food within a 20 minute drive. The place was so nice and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable we loved it!! The place comes with everything you need for a beach day, chairs, snorkel gear, towels, and boogy boards. The pool and tennis courts were a huge park aswell. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. ##### Nick R. Boogie boards, sand toys, beach chairs, etc. We’ve stayed at other units in this complex before, and this was certainly the cleanest, updated kitchen and hard wood flooring, and comfortable with the breeze and proximity to Turtle bay resort and golf (Fazio course). It was very clean, had a well equipped kitchen and a good bed. It is a great place as a fall out for visiting the island. We would definately recommend this place! Maybe one tiny remark; when we booked on VRBO it wasn't quite clear that 1 of the beds is a sofabed. Thank you for letting us stay in your nice condo. ##### Maarten v. The photos and listing do not accurately represent the space, it is dated with signs of wear and tear. The listing advertises air conditioning, but it was a portable unit in the bedroom and window unit in the main living space that was not capable of keeping a comfortable temperature. The property manager was responsive, and the Turtle Bay area is walkable with great local restaurants in the surrounding areas. ##### Yvonne L. I would not stay here again. The neighborhood feels very safe and it's an easy walk to Turtle Bay Resort and the beaches. It was easy to check in and check out. Hopefully, this review will clarify some conflicting reviews. Do note that this is based on our styles, and you may have different styles. The condo is partially updated - the kitchen and shower. The doors, floors, hardware, and vanity could be updated. If you are looking for a homey island unit without modern updates, this is the unit for you!If you are looking for a fully updated unit with modern amenities, you may want to look elsewhere. The biggest drawback for us was the dust and need for extra cleaning power. There was clear dusts on the island lights, tv, walls, underneath the couch, and by the bed.This could've been easily addressed if we contacted the owner, but we were just too tired after 16 hours of travel and took care of them ourselves. Kids loved the beautiful green lawn, the tennis courts, and the little pool. We didn’t end up taking much advantage of the beaches near the resort, although Kawela Bay is beautiful. Waimea beach was so amazing and such a quick drive that we ended up going there most days instead. We loved the Waimea botanical garden and the food in Hale’iwa.
