This is an exceptional vacation rental located on the world famous North Shore of O'ahu within the Turtle Bay Resort area, which is in close proximity to world class north shore beaches such as Sunset Beach, Velzyland, and Pipeline. This exclusive gated community of Kuilima Estates East features 2 refreshing swimming pools (one of which is less than a minute walk from this condo), tennis courts, free parking, ample guest parking, three ACs, and free WiFi are among the many amenities awaiting you in this veritable paradise. This condo has been tastefully renovated and is well appointed. If you're searching around for other properties, you may be able to tell from the photos that this condo is more desirable than 90% of the other Kuilima Condos you may find, and its location within the property means it is a much closer walk to the Turtle Bay Resort and beaches than many of the other Kuilima Estates condos. Located within the Turtle Bay Resort area, this condo is next to the world famous Turtle Bay Arnold Palmer golf course as well as the George Fazio course, both of which will delight any golf enthusiast. This beautiful condo is located on the 2nd floor, one flight of steps to the front door. The master bedroom on the main floor has a comfortable king bed, smart TV and AC. The upstairs loft has its own full bathroom, smart TV, split AC, king bed along with a single bed. Because it is a loft, this second bedroom has no door. Having an AC in the loft is important because these Kuilima lofts can get very warm and most of the lofts don’t have their own AC. The living room has a split AC, large smart TV, queen futon bed and an airy lanai where you can sit and enjoy the stunning view of the golf course. Also on the main floor there is an open kitchen with an island countertop, as well as the 2nd bathroom and a washer and dryer in the hallway. If you do decide to venture out of this amazing oasis many dining options await you! Turtle Bay Resort is a short walk away where you can find chef Roy Yamaguchi's Beach House restaurant, Lei Lei's Bar and Grill, The Point Sunset and Pool Bar (arguably the best place on the island for a sunset cocktail), and Off The Lip. Nearby there are tons of delicious food truck options in Kahuku, which is known for its incredible shrimp farms, where you can eat delicious farm to table shrimp plates. If you prefer staying home to cook your meals, there are 2 different Foodland markets in either direction from the hotel. The North Shore is commonly referred to as a Mecca for the world's best surfers who make their annual pilgrimage to it's pristine, awe inspiring beaches. The most famous wave on earth, the absolutely mesmerizing Banzai Pipeline is less than 5 miles away and warrants spending a day at the beach taking in its awe inspiring power. If your timing is impeccable, nearby Waimea Bay may be breaking if the swell is large enough. Having a picnic on the beach and watching some of the biggest waves on earth break nearby is an absolute must during the winter months! A little older than I expected but was clean and comfy. The upstairs shower was very short for my very tall daughters. The downstairs bathroom light kept blinking on and off while I was showering. This section of the golf course has been closed for a few years so we had a HUGE grassy backyard to walk on all the way to the ocean! Only one thing I wish it had was a full length mirror in the master bedroom to check out my new swimsuits, and to use to put makeup on when the bathroom was occupied, then more than one person could get ready at a time. We even saw a monk seal! The property was exactly as pictured, it was a great space with all the essentials for a great vacation. Clean, modern, great cooling system, and comfortable beds. Lanai is small but enough to enjoy sitting outside with your coffee. The main floor bedroom was nice however the mattress was really firm (hard) for me and the AC unit was noisy. We switched to the upstairs bed and it was better and the AC unit up there was quiet. The pillows could be better too. But it's a great clean and comfortable place in a really nice location. The North shore is great. Head to Ted's Bakery just 7 minutes down the road for breakfast, lunch or early dinner! I would choose this property again when we return to Oahu. ##### Michele C. The flight of stairs up was a bit challenging for my 85 year old dad. I thought we were on the ground floor… should have read more closely. Very clean overall with all necessities. We had requested tea towel and new ones were delivered the next morning. I wish there was a bit more info available about the Turtle Bay Area. For example, golfing- there is a discount if you stay at the hotel, but not at the estates. The trails around the property are easy and well marked for exploring or a run. The coffee shop in the hotel is delicious! Turtle Bay beach is great and we did see a turtle! Some great food trucks if you head south. Great that there were three AC units! Overall a great visit to north shore. ##### Penny B. It looked just like the photos advertised and was a nice quiet location that we could walk to Turtle Bay Resort to enjoy the beach and restaurants (note Turtle Bay Resort pools etc are not accessible staying here) We had rented a car and so we were out and about exploring most of each day which is why this place worked just fine for a place to sleep and grab a quick breakfast before heading out. We run vacation rentals ourselves so I am pretty discerning but we were a bit disappointed in the cleanliness when we first walked in. It wasn’t terrible, but we did need to wipe counters, fridge, knobs and d/w down when we arrived - lots of fingerprints, sticky etc. we were provided very minimal staples such as one towel per person, 2 dw pucks for a week stay, things like that. Some of the towels are getting ready for an update, some are a bit thin. When staying for a week and paying good money for the stay and the cleaning enough pucks to get through your stay, and not scrimping on supplies is really appreciated. Doesn’t have to be excessive just enough for the length of stay which of course varies guest to guest. The patio is small with table seating for only 2, the sofa is one low futon - tough for 4 adults to relax on but of course does provide additional sleeping. The place was cute, cheery and worked perfectly fine for our needs but if we had wanted to spend more time at the unit, it lacked a bit. All in all a great trip! ##### Jaye M.
