We absolutely loved the space, so many thoughtful touches like the local artisanal soap. The view of the water is phenomenal and the whole area is so peaceful.
Such an amazing place and the host was beyond lovely. We came for a quiet retreat and got exactly that - super comfortable and beautiful, we can’t wait to return!
Wonderful stay. Peaceful view over basin even a welcoming seal at the dock. Close to many many trails and breweries. Host was lovely and gave us some delicious local ice cream.
Our stay exceeded our expectations. The property was the perfect home base for exploring the coast, while also providing a cozy and relaxing place to enjoy our morning coffee and take in the beautiful ocean views before and after our adventures.
We especially loved listening to the birds and spotting wildlife from the property. The space was thoughtfully designed, exceptionally clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Trinita was a kind, responsive, and accommodating host who helped make our visit even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated her hospitality.
We had a wonderful weekend and are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful stay in East Sooke. The location is absolutely beautiful — so close to the Galloping Goose bike trail and the hiking trails leading to stunning Becher Bay Beach. The gardens are lovely, and the views through the large spotless windows made the space feel peaceful and relaxing.Tinita was a wonderful host with excellent communication throughout our stay. The kitchen was very well stocked, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bedding felt luxurious. We especially loved the thoughtful woodworking details, the table in front of the window where we enjoyed our morning coffee, and the beautiful artwork throughout the space. Everything felt warm, welcoming, and cared for. We would happily stay here again!
What a beautiful and enjoyable place from which to explore the splendor of southwestern Vancouver Island! Everything you need to be comfortable - and an aesthetic delight, to boot. A great location, well-appointed, and perched above the sea with an expansive and peaceful view out over the water, a place apart. The intimate little balcony afforded both morning light and sunset radiance. It felt like home almost immediately. We walked down to the dock and saw the biggest starfish that we'd ever seen. We'll be back!
Wow!! Where do we start?! To say the Tiny House was superb would be an understatement! It is located in an immensely beautiful park on its own sheltered bay off the Pacific. It is incredible.
Take a walk down to the dock where we found a family of otters, crabs and the most purple of starfish and many of them.
The house is perfection for a couple, be that young or old; with all the amenities of your own home.
Trinita, is the best host you will ever find…sweet, caring, attentive with a plethora of knowledge of the area and history of the area. She’s put games, art and historical books in the house for rainy days, with spare fuzzy blankets for curling up in a chair on the deck if the night gets cool.
If you want to visit, the lower end of Vancouver Island make this your home base. Frankly you’d be a fool not to give this gem a chance. You will not regret it.
Great stay! Would return! The host was lovely to communicate with, the property was clean, quiet and very peaceful.

We really wanted a quiet place for a few days with beautiful views to rest. This was the perfect retreat, and Trinita is so kind. We didn’t venture out much, but when we did we went to the Stickleback West Coast Eatery right on the water, and they have a fantastic menu and the food was amazing.
Beautiful little property with lovely view. Heater kept us nice and toasty and the peace and quiet was just what we needed.
