Had to insist a change as the standard room is too cramp for two persons to move around - the bed occupied almost the entire space. The venue - I refused to call it a hotel - though look new on the surface, one quickly realised that it is not well maintained. For examples, the door could not automatically closed properly but requires some force to close it due to some alignment issues; the walls are full of hairline cracks and the shower water got stagnant easily and quickly. See my photos attached. Size of room was adequate. The king size bed was comfortable. However, the pillows were somewhat flat. When I arrived, the lift was not working well; the doors won’t open on the 1st floor.My room was supposed to be on that floor, and the staff was quick to offer another on the 3rd floor. There is a Chinese restaurant nearby. Dimsum in the morning was nice. Ample public parking near the hotel, as it is still a relatively new area.
