The host was very communicative and helpful. Used the home as a home base for a friend trip to ski at Boyne. House had everything we needed and a was the perfect retreat for our very snowy vacation. View out to the lake in the winter was beautiful.
The host was very receptive to ay quetions I had and made recommendations of places to eat and things to see. The location is well placed and the area is quiet. The views from the deck are lovely. I very much recommend this place, especially if you have a group of 6-12.
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The home was clean and had everything we needed. The host was friendly and informative. We had no complaints and plan to stay here again!
We found the house and grounds to be super clean, nicely decorated and well stocked with everything we needed. We really enjoyed the canoe and fishing off the dock. The beds were great, kitchen, showers, firepit and the back deck were all GREAT!!
Really comfortable for a group with young children. The location feels pretty secluded for a lake house. The house layout is great for kids and families. Close to Vienna Corners, Gaylord and Lewiston. Lake was clean and we saw a ton of wildlife, caught some bass and a huge pike right off thr dock.
We will try and stay here again. We love evening campfires with the ability to retire to a spacious home and bed. Wildlife during the day was plentiful. Enjoyed borrowing the canoe (also kayaks) to tour the lake. Very quick turnaround time when we had questions about the property from Kirk.
Perfect home for 8 adults. Great weather all week for boating on the lake. Started each morning on the balcony enjoying our coffee and the beautiful view. Home was very clean and just as pictured. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you may need. Great vacation had a great
Perfect spot for our 3 generational family weekend. The cottage is welcoming, comfortable, nicely provisioned, and sparkling clean. The spacious living room and nice toys were much appreciated for our grandbabies. The weather did not allow us to take advantage of the many outdoor amenities but we enjoyed the big covered deck and the beautiful views. The owner is very helpful and prompt in replying to questions. Highly recommended.
We had a great time. Even with all the rain we were able to hang out on the large wrap around porch and still enjoy the view of the lake. On the nicer days we enjoyed the beach, boating and fishing off the doc. Everything was perfect! Host was very nice and responded to any questions quickly. We are definitely looking forward to coming back again next year!
What a host great communication from beginning to the end. Cabin was beautiful and cozy and neighborhood was quiet. Lake was clear and full of fish. Set on the porch in morning and water the sunrise, listen to the loons and other birds and keep an eye out for eagle fishing. What a pleasant time on the lake.
Couldn’t have been better (well except for the weather)
The home is beautiful and was furnished with anything you could imagine. Beds were comfy and the furniture is, too. The decorations are charming and fit the home/location to a T.
The views were spectacular over the lake and beach.
We didn’t want to leave today, but someone else has it reserved.
Stay here! There is plenty of space. We only had 4 ppl, but could comfortably sleep 10-12 adults.
We brought a boat to go fishing and explore the lake, but never used it. It was way windy and rained one day.
We will definitely tell our friends and family about your beautiful Jewel on Big Bear Lake in Johannesburg 😊♥️
Thank you so much for providing such a nice relaxing stay! Just what we wanted. Kirk is a great host and available for any questions! Love the space and the big porch overlooking the lake!Recommend!
House was beautiful! Hosts were amazing! So much space that had plenty of seating for everyone not to mention a kitchen that had everything even a crockpot which we needed to use! We had the best time & would love to come back again in the future!
The house is very nice!! Everything u need is there. Nice place. Host is very nice anweres all your question. Fishing wasnt good. But that happens. Would stay again.
We had a nice time staying at the house. We happened to reach bit late than we planned and the house number was not visible in the dark that made a little difficult to find it. Except that everything went well and we enjoyed the time.
My brother and I grew up in Michigan we both live out of State, now he lives in San Diego for 40 years and I live in Long Beach, Indiana but lived in Chicago for 25 years. We make a pilgrimage every year to Northern Michigan
