Find hotels in Jiříkov from £48

The best area to stay in Jiříkov is generally within the town centre, particularly around the main square, Náměstí 9. května.

This central area offers the most convenience for visitors. You'll find a selection of local shops, eateries, and services clustered around the square and along adjacent streets like Rumburská. It's a compact and walkable area, making it easy to get around on foot. The town hall and the Church of St. George are prominent landmarks here.

For travellers seeking a straightforward and convenient base for exploring the town and the surrounding Šluknov Hook region, staying in the centre is ideal.

The best time to go to Jiříkov is during the late spring (May-June) or early autumn (September-October) when the weather is mild and pleasant for exploring the region.

These months offer comfortable temperatures, ideal for outdoor activities like hiking or cycling in the nearby Lusatian Mountains or Saxon Switzerland National Park. You'll avoid the peak summer crowds and the chillier winter months, making for a more relaxed experience.

For those interested in local culture and events, the summer months (July-August) can also be appealing, as many towns in the Ústí nad Labem Region host festivals and open-air markets. However, be prepared for potentially warmer weather and more visitors during this period.
