The main reason I booked this hotel was because the listing prominently advertised a beautiful sauna, which was one of the amenities I was particularly looking forward to using. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. After checking in, I went to the amenities area to relax, only to find that the sauna looked nothing like the photos advertised and barely got warm. After sitting in a lukewarm sauna for about 15 minutes, I decided to try the steam room instead. Unfortunately, it was an even bigger disappointment. The steam room was not functioning at all and was leaking a significant amount of water from the area where the steam should have been coming out. I feel the amenities were very misleading compared with how they were presented in the listing, and this was especially frustrating given that the sauna was a major reason I chose this hotel. On a positive note, the breakfast buffet was quite good and was definitely a highlight of the stay.

A very pleasant surprise

I had an amazing experience in my one night stay at this property. They upgraded me to a suite and it was just perfect. Everything was clean, spacious and the breakfast was excellent. I can't say enough positive things about this hotel.

I'd love to stay here again.

Perfect stay, I was on my business trip. I like the location of the hotel. I was there for Yiwu trade market and it was walkable distance so location was perfect. also, big shopping mall was right next to the hotel building so very convenient. starbucks, burger king, local restaurants and coffee shops. room was nice and clean. well maintained, I didn't have a single complaint about it. breafast food served with various options, fresh, good quality. overall, 5 out of 5. I would def stay there again.

Great location and a true 5 Star international hotel in Yiwu. Breakfast buffet was over crowded and the staff seemed overwhelmed. After a vigorous search I was able to get a small table for 1. I left a coffee, juice, and utencils while I went to get food. Came back and my table had been taken over.

Comfortable bed and spacious room. Furniture needs a good clean looking grubby and tired. Staff very obliging but not trained to 5 star level. Club lounge drinks extremely limited -no gin, vodka or champagne ! Hand access to Glory Mall shopping centre next door.

The hotel was beautiful but needs some extra care in regards to cleanliness. The check in staff was not at the level of politeness that you would expect from a Shangri-La. The free laundry amenities weee awesome! All in all we had a great stay! Please also get the breakfast, it was incredible!!! The hotel is literally connected to a mall with a hige food court which came in handy!!

Shangri La Yiwu is more like a 2 to 3 star hotel. It's dated and oldish and the staff are quite lazy and uninterested. Housekeeping is a daily issue and the dirt permeates everywhere. Shangri La Yiwu will leave u angry La.. Will never stay here again ..
