The property has a view of the Old Jail in historic Jim Thorpe. A covered balcony and a separate covered patio both have direct views of the Old Jail and surrounding mountains. Inside, the first level features a large master bedroom with queen size bed, a gorgeous bathroom with walk-in shower and a large living room with couches and a flat screen/HD TV. Upstairs you will find, two bedrooms each with a full size bed, updated bathroom with a tub./shower. One floor up, you'll find a a second living area with a futon and game room. Pets are allowed, but please be sure to indicate that your pet is joining you and pay the pet fee. The location was excellent, convenient to restaurants, stores, the train, and other sites. The apartment itself was lovely. I was with my teenaged son and my mother and we had plenty of room to spread out and relax, and the whole place was clean and comfortale. The porches are beautiful and a great place to have coffee and start the day. Very easy check-in and check-out and a very communicative host. The house is always decorated so festive for the holidays with fhe holiday tree and decorations. It was a short walking distance to downtown Jim Thorpe. It was fun browsing all the unique stores. Chad was very helpful. We came with our furbabies so had several conversations with him, while out for our walks. He treated us like family. We may try one of the downstairs apartments next time. We got our exercise in going up and down those stairs in apt C. Loved the lay out of the home. The patio and balconies were nice. The only con was the limited areas for the pups to do their business.
