My first reaction to this property was: WOW. The pictures don't do it justice! This location is not only stunning, but the house is even prettier, more spacious, and delightful in person. We stayed here in mid-June with two grandparents, three grandkids, and the parents to all the crazy children and fit perfectly with room to spare. The TVs kept everyone entertained, the views from the outdoor patio were beautiful (even in the fog), and we had a wonderful time being all together and enjoying each other's company. Bridget was a thoughtful host and excellent with communication.
A quick note: the pool and splash pad at Wildcat Recreation Center was fantastic, but you will have to pay $6 per person extra. If you plan on the full day there, it's all good and for us, it was totally worth it.
The road in is VERY curvy. Try to plan your arrival during daylight hours, especially if you're used to flat, Midwestern roads like us! My husband loved it, but this kind of driving isn't for everyone. It certainly makes the views worth it!
Also, please listen to Bridget when she tells you to keep the trash in the garage and the door closed: we saw a black bear snooping around the front door of the neighbor's house on our third day there! It was so cool, but we were really glad that we kept everything locked up!
We highly recommend a stay here and hopefully can return again next year!
