Gorgeous home in Maslenica

  • Comfortable vacation house in a garden planted with Mediterranean plants. You live in Maslenica. The house consists of two separate living units and has only outside stairs. In the garden there is a bed with canopy and a gazebo to relax. The pool offers refreshment in the hot summer months. The owner lives in a small cottage on the property, but is separated from you by a wall and a separate entrance, so your privacy is not disturbed. Visit the nearby National Park Paklenica or dare a bungee jump from the bridge in Maslenica.

This was an amazing property, beautifully maintained, with lush gardens, and fabulous facilities. The whole property has been thoughtfully designed, with many different sunny and shady areas for relaxing, dining, and sunbathing. The pool and gardens were maintained daily - all extremely clean and tidy. The garden kitchen is amazing and we had all of our meals there, not needing to use the kitchens within the two apartments. The friendly hosts live in an adjoining property and were always on hand to help and offer advice should we need it, and even brought us plates of local food to sample, including their home-made salami (it was delicious). There are a few mini-markets/supermarkets within a 5-15 min walk, as well as a beach bar, bakery, ice-cream shop and beachside restaurant all within a 10 min walk. We did a wonderful boat trip which we booked down on the waterfront, and also hired paddle-boards. (Also for hire are kayaks, pedalos, jet skis and boats, as well as there being an inflatable water park.) Bus stop for Zadar (and other destinations) is a 15 min walk. We had an amazing week and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or revisit. Thank you Gordana & family!
