Great stay
Had an amazing time and our hostess was great. Beautiful home and the pool was wonderful. I would recommend this for larger groups who want their own privacy while staying together. The roof top patio was a great addition to our stay.

Could Not Have Been Better
The property was beautiful! As nice as the VRBO pictures are, they actually didn’t do the home justice! The home was impeccable. Indie was the most gracious host-welcoming and wonderful! We had her prepare two meals for our family and both were amazing! We also enjoyed chatting with her and did not find her the least bit intrusive! We can not wait to go back to Villa Indijo again very soon!

Beautiful house and even better host
We had an amazing stay at Villa Indijo. We we were greeted immediately by smiling faces of Indi and Joe as we arrived. The pictures really do no justice on how beautiful the villa truly is. We had a total of 8 people on the trip, 4 couples. It was great that each couple had their own rooms, bathroom and balcony. Indi and Joe both offered to help us get our groceries back to the villa and when we called jo came to not only grab the groceries, he took us back to the villa as well. Even prior to our trip, communication with them was great. We decided to have Indi prepare two dinners for us. Let me say, both dinners were amazing. She went above and beyond what was promised. Do yourself a favor and have her prepare a few meals. Anything we needed they were there to assist. An added bonus was have daily housekeeping and they live in a side apartment. Although they live on the property they never intruded on our privacy. I could go on and on about the villa but I will just say it was worth every penny and we will definitely be back to stay. Quiet location, about 20- 25 mins from the airport. I would suggest renting a car as taxi service on the island is very expensive. Everything you need though is within walking distance (restaurants, grocery store and beach).

Villa Indijo is *the way* to enjoy a group Curaçao trip
Curaçao in general is a dream vacation, with top-tier beaches, fine dining, plenty of activities, and a hospitable and fun population; but Villa Indijo sends the stay into the stratosphere! The home is comfortably appointed and spacious, with an outstanding garden and decadent outdoor living areas, including a large pool, bar, multiple dining spaces and large 360-view rooftop for sunbathing, sunset viewing and stargazing. There is a professional kitchen and large TV and sitting area, but I can't imagine you'd spend your vacation there, given the options! The location is walkable to the market and high-end resorts with beach amenities and activities, restaurants and night life. Renting a car ensures you can also enjoy west end beaches, national parks, Willemstad attractions and night food carts. Finally, it would be a *huge* oversight to not request a few meals by Indy. Her skills are on par with fine dining establishments in NYC, SF, Lisbon and Paris, and better yet, none of that infamous multi-hour dinner wait the Caribbean is known for! Five star vacation for us.

Friends, fun and food!
Indijo's location is very convenient to most everything to do in and around the central town and a quick walk to Jan Thiel beach. Indi was a great hostess, providing us a warm welcome and always available to give us suggestions for restaurants and things to do. We took advantage of having her make a meal for us one night and were not disappointed! We even experienced some local fare with Indi's assistance. Overall the property matches the description. The pool is so delightful and the rooftop is a must do. We didn't have good sunsets while on island, but I can imagine they'd be spectacular with the 360 degree views. I would only note that there was not a dryer, but the clothes line and the ongoing trade winds were just as good of an option. Thanks Indi and Joe!

Absolute Paradise
This gorgeous property far exceeded all our expectations, and was the perfect vacation spot for our two families of four. It is located in an upscale and safe neighborhood of the island, just a five minute walk to Jan Thiel beach (and the Papagayo beach club with all its amenities). The house itself is stunning, nicer than the lovely pictures. We rented two cars for the week, utilizing the gated parking. The pool is immaculate, well maintained, with a bar, refrigerator, Bluetooth speaker, and ample sunchairs. The 4 kids (ages 6-9) spent entire afternoons playing in the pool, and enjoying Netflix on the flatscreen TV in the living room. Each spacious bedroom is apportioned with an en-suite bathroom, and the beds comfortable. The house was spotless and well-maintained. The housekeeper cleaned and did laundry 3 times during the week, a welcome surprise. The rooftop is a gem - we would toast the gorgeous sunset over the ocean every evening. Indi was a warm and welcoming host. She was very responsive to WhatsApp messages, and not all intrusive. She was full of great recommendations and her cooking is simply sublime. We organized a home cooked feast upon arrival, which was on par with the best restaurants on the island. She graciously organized a second dinner, which was better than the first. There was ample leftovers for lunch, I highly recommend taking advantage of her cooking services. She even stocked the kitchen/bar for us prior to arrival. Look no further, we hope to soon return to Villa IndiJo for another amazing vacation!

Beautiful but not private
The home was gorgeous and looked exactly as the pictures represented. However, this is not a private property as described when booking as the owner stays on the premises. Had i known that, i would have booked somewhere else. Other than that, the home was beautiful to stay in, just no privacy.

Thank you, Morgan, for reviewing your stay at our property. I am a bit confused with the privacy comments. During the reservation process it was clearly communicated to you that we are a full-service property with daily housekeeping, cleaning, and concierge services. We have also told you about our chef and provided you with our menu. No one has disturbed you during your stay. You had a choice not to use housekeeping and cleaning services. However, you needed it as there was too much mess all over the house. We did not mind the fact that you made reservation for two people and came with five. We also managed our neighbours who were complaining about the late-night noises. I understood from your comments that you needed a complete private place, then you should have read the listing better and comprehend it or when you arrived, you could have just asked us not to provide any services. All the very best.

Villa IndiJo is a definite IndiGO!!
I’ll start with the basics: The pictures are accurate, what you see is what you get. The location is perfect; a 10 minute walk from the beach and a small, but well stocked, supermarket, and the rooms and gorgeous roof, all have beautiful views over the neighborhood all the way to the water. Well tended, this home is an oasis. Now, what’s special! Your hosts!! Indi and Joe. Two of the nicest people you could ever meet. Kind, generous, and fantastic hosts. Here’s a great example. We had some extraordinary delays on arrival at the airport so we got the house 3 hours later than we thought we would. Not only we’re they reaching out to us, but Indi insisted on making us dinner before bed. What was an originally difficult day, turned into a warm and lovely evening. Indi’s cooking was varied and special. I’d suggest having dinner or breakfast at the house at least once(or three times :)) They can tell you where to go, what to see, and where to eat. And, at the end of the day, when you come back from your trips, you feel like you are coming home. 5 Stars for Villa IndiJo!!!

After reading a lot of reviews, all excellent, I wondered could they all be true. I have to say that Joe and Indy(the hosts) and this amazing house exceeded every expectation. The house was perfect large beautiful great pool a lot of areas for relaxing and entertaining and the rooftop is unbelievable overlooking the entire Caribbean Sea. As hosts Joe and Indy went above and beyond providing meals, information, and everything and anything we needed All we had to do was ask. When you combine the beautiful island with the beautiful house we stayed in and these beautiful people who hosted us it was a once-in-a-lifetime trip that we hope to repeat every year They even arranged for masseuses to come to the house for me and my wife! We will definitely come back and we would definitely stay in this house again A +++rating

Villa Indijo was a awesome experience. The host Joe & Indi are very nice. They act as a full concierge helping with whatever they can to make your stay a memorable experience. The meals that were prepared for us was very tasteful. The location of this property is in a perfect location. Just walking distance from food & shops. I would highly recommend this property if you want cleanliness, comfort, and relaxation.

Wonderful memories made in Curaçao
Villa Indijo is a beautiful house, owned by wonderful hosts, in a fantastic location. Everything is really clean (and kept clean throughout the week by the wonderful Housekeeper), beds are comfortable, kitchen is amazing, pool is large and great for swimming, rooftop patio has beautiful views along with the balconies off two of the bedrooms and everything is kept cool by A/C in the bedrooms and a wonderful cross breeze that flows throughout. Indi cooked us three delicious dinners and we had many great chats, also she was such a great help to us. The house is a short walk to the Jan Thiel beach (and we had young kids in tow) as well as a supermarket, shops, and restaurants. We had such a wonderful time on our trip and highly recommend Curaçao and Villa Indijo!

Joe and Indi are the most wonderful hosts and their home could be in Architectural Digest. Our group of 5 had plenty of room and were very comfortable in this spacious home. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Wonderful luxury villa with all the amenities and a short stroll to the beach. Great pool, house, landscaping and an awesome rooftop where you can hang and/or party. The hostess is also an excellent chef so be sure to order her jerk chicken and goat stew and if you're lucky you may get to try her parathas too. Our family had an awesome time in a safe, secure and serene place. This is a great place to enjoy your stay and explore Curacao.

Best relaxing bachelorette destination spot
The house was amazing and the service was even better. The views and the pool made the property feel like you were in your own private resort. The property owner lives on site and she arranged a dinner with a chef, massages on site and our transportation. We were 9 woman on a bachelorette and we felt safe. The bars, supermarket and beach are a 5 min away. The owner was very hospitable and we couldn’t of asked for a better stay. Definitely coming back with the family.

Wonderful stay!!!
We had such an amazing stay in this wonderful villa. We have stayed in many places around the world and this was the best accommodation with the best hosts. Joe picked us up from the airport and Indi took us back there at the end of our stay - they couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful while we were there. Having Donna the housekeeper there 6 days a week was an added bonus! Indi created some amazing meals for us (you have to try her wonderful cooking!) and there are also some excellent restaurants at the beach area which is a very short walk away. You don't need a car to stay here if you want a chilled out week, but we did hire one to explore this beautiful island and some of it's gorgeous beaches. I would thoroughly recommend this stunning villa - we were all so sad to leave and miss being there now!

fabulous venue for a group - dushi & bon bini
Even though we arrived ahead of the others at 11:30 PM, Indi was waiting for us and made us feel very welcome. The home itself is gorgeous with plenty of space to gather as a group or spend a bit of time alone. It is so airy that we never put on the a/c. The beach, stores, restaurants, and the grocery store are a couple of minutes walking time. You don't need a car once you get there if you don't want to rent one. The rooftop terrace was the perfect spot for cocktails at night. The gourmet kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glassware, etc. We loved eating and drinking coffee in the poolside cabana. The neighborhood is very quiet even though it is so close to everything. Indi made us feel like visiting family members. We were all sad to leave her. She is a amazing cook so make sure you have at least one meal catered by her.

Amazing and one of the best appointed villas we have rented
Our family of 8 had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa that was in a secure and safe neighborhood. It was in easy walking distance of a grocery store, small boutiques, a gelato store, and beach. The owners provided us with a welcome drink and appetizer on our arrival, cooked an amazing dinner from a menu that was emailed to us on request and went out of their way to provide a memorable vacation for our family. Joe even brought out a sound system and guitars for our teenage girls to play and sing on our first night. The owners live onsite and are available to fix any minor issues and answer questions. A full time housekeeper works every day to provide clean up services and fresh beach towels daily. The downstairs is open to the outside so bug spray is needed in the evening for the dining, kitchen and pool areas. Constant trade winds provide a comfortable breeze for the downstairs and outside areas. The views from the roof deck are incredible .Keeping bedroom doors closed provides cool and bug free sleeping. We so enjoyed the pool, outdoor kitchen, and bar area after a day at the beach or island touring. A car is definitely needed to explore the island, but the villa and surrounding walkable area would provide enough entertainment if one chose to stay in the local area. Our girls enjoyed the music at the many outdoor beach restaurants in the evening and we also took advantage of our cars to explore the wonderful diverse beaches on the west end of the island which are about an hours drive. All in all, I would highly recommend this luxury villa as proving a perfect stay for a large group or family.

Absolutely Amazing Stay!!
We could not have asked for a better time! Joe was a great host who was quick to respond to all of our groups questions before we arrived. When we did arrive, Joe greeted us with beer and wine before giving us a tour of the house. The house itself was beautiful and made our trip. There is no AC in the main rooms but there is a breeze so it wasn't an issue. All the bedrooms have AC in them. The neighborhood is safe itself and even when we were walking around at night we felt safe. There is a grocery store 2min walk away. Right past the grocery store is the beach and shops (5min walk from the house). Joe is friends with a car rental company and they acted as our uber for the trip so we did not need to rent a car. Joe also offers a complete menu that him and his wife can prepare for you. We opted for the Seafood buffet and it was so good!! Would definitely recommend having something off the menu while you are staying there. Even on our last day his wife made us lunch with all of our leftover food and it was one of the best lunches we had there! His wife used to own a restaurant and is a great chef! There was a total of 8 of us who stayed and the house was perfect to accommodate our group size. Other than the pool our favorite spot was the roof as it overlooks the ocean. The beach nearby was great!! The house has a housekeeper named Marsha, she was really nice and it was great to always have the kitchen cleaned. We also spent some time at Mambo beach which was only a 10min car ride away. We already can't wait to come back in the future!

Extraordinary!
We wish we could give this review more stars. Our recent stay at this property could not have gone any better. We travelled to Curacao with 7 adults and our 20 month old granddaughter. A great time was had by all. The house was spectacular, the pool was incredible but what sets this place apart from others we have stayed at was the host, Joe J. He was so nice and accommodating, always making sure we were taken care of and having a good time. Marsha was the housekeeper during our stay and she was very sweet and nice. The location was good. We were walking distance to the market for fresh breakfast items each morning and beer runs late at night. Just past the market were shops, restaurants and Jan Thiel Beach. To explore the island we rented a car and had it delivered to the house. Joe provided us with a remote to open the gate so we could park inside. On top of being a fantastic host (and the most interesting man in the world) Joe is an accomplished chef and specializes in Indian cuisine. We ordered off of his menu options a complete feast and had it served on the outside dining table. It was the best. I highly recommend having Joe prepare a meal during your stay. The experience was memorable, the food was outstanding. It could not have been any better. We will be back.

We had a lovely time at Villa Indijo. The house is beautiful and spacious and comes fully equipped with everything you would need for a great stay. There is AC in each of the bedrooms and 1 unit in the common area on the first floor. This means not all of the common areas are air conditioned. This wasn’t a problem for us as there were good breezes blowing through the house. The pool and pool bar area were a favorite location for our family to hang out at the end of each day, such a plesant spot. The location was in a very nice and safe neighborhood walking distance to the local grocery store, beach, bars, casino and restaurants. So you have the advantage of having your own house with the benefits of a resort area within walking distance. That being said, if you want to see more of the island I would suggest renting a car. Taxicabs were not so easy to come by. Driving was actually very easy using a GPS device to get around. There is some construction going on near the house fairly early in the morning but that just helped us get up and start our day. You will be very well taken care of if you stay at Villa Indijo. There is a cleaning person who works at the house 6 days a week, all day to make sure the house is neat and clean and that you have everything you need. If the owner is in town he stays in his portion of the house and is a very outgoing host who is anxious to make sure his guests are happy. He went so far as to drive us to the airport the morning we left. We had a wonderful stay!
