"This was one of the cutest cottages we’ve ever stayed at! The host was so kind and sweet and we LOVED the pool! Host even offered to let us park in the yard to help with my grandmas accessibility. The location is only about ten minutes away from eateries and stores, and super convenient if you’re going to CVille or Shenandoah. If we’re ever back in the area, we will definitely stay again!"

"This lovely one bedroom cabin is located just far enough to feel secluded, but within 20 minutes of a grocery store and restaurants. It is equipped with everything you need to be comfortable. The hosts have excellent communication and strive to make sure their guests are comfortable, well informed, and get the privacy they desire. The back porch is a dream and where we spent many hours listening to the birds, watching squirrels play, and reading our books. The walking trails on the property are well marked and a great way to explore nature and get some exercise. The cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway for a couple. Looking forward to coming back!"

"We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the Chestnut House over a long weekend. The place was incredibly clean and well provisioned with everything we could need. We had no issues during our stay, but Maria and Randy were helpful and responsive in all communications leading up to our check in. We enjoyed sitting down by the river with our pups and building a fire in the fire pit each night. I think this place is a great value for the all of the high end details of the house like the nice modern updated bathrooms and kitchen. We would definitely stay here again! Also, I recommend picking up some burger patties from Grass n Grit market to grill at the house."

"Great hotel..room themselves were quiet except the idiots being loud in the hallway at midnight Even though they state they are on-duty 24x7 if you plan on leaving early in the morning be prepared to wait. No one was at the front desk or the whole hotel for 10-15 minutes seriously thought I was going to have to call the cops. Anyways, avoid staying in the rooms on the valet side..traffic is kind of noisey all night. Steakhouse in the hotel is pricey but a choice."
