The only reason I’m deducting two stars is that the AC wasn’t working, and the ceiling fan wasn’t functioning properly—it didn’t provide sufficient airflow. It is what I would call a low budget hotel. Even the approach to this hotel is bad. I would equate this to some of the cheapest US motels. Service was bad. The room staff were thoroughly disinterested in serving the client. Firstly because of where it is located i.e. no restaurants or any other amenities nearby. Secondly we ate at the hotel restaurant and I got terribly ill that night. Told the reception the next morning but they were not in the siightest interested. Sometimes the stuff is not easy, but finally all needs went right. From the hotel it is just short walk to the western gate of the pink city, the historic district in Jaipur.
